( Alex's POV)
I hastily parked my car in front of Kelvin's house and rang the doorbell several times. Soon Kelly opened the door with a worried expression. Before she could ask any question that was surely roaming inside her head, I started to speak.
" Where's the box?" I asked hurriedly. She pointed outside.
" On the bench in the garden." She answered. I nodded my head and ran toward where she pointed. The box was kept on the bench. I slowly went near it and placed my ear near the box. A ticking sound could be heard from inside.
" What's in there?" I heard a voice from behind. I turned around to look at Kelvin who came closer to look at the box as well.
" I'm not sure. Just hoping that it isn't a bomb." I said and opened the brown paper in which it was wrapped.
" Why suddenly you thought of a bomb?" He said as I continued to unwrap it.
