" Doctor, look at her. She's so pale. Is she alright?" I asked the doctor, and I started to panic.
" Oh My God!" the doctor exclaimed in panic and my heart froze listening to the next line she said. "She has been very weak and in pain for a long time. Please make sure she doesn't lose consciousness. The head is already here." The doctor instructed the fellow doctor and she came to stand on another side of Anna.
"Anna, please be conscious, baby. You'll get through it. Nothing will happen to you." I encouraged her and showered her head with kisses and tapped her cheeks with my hand, but I myself was panicking inside.
" Y-yes, yes, N-noth-ing w-will happen to m-my baby. I w-wont let anything happen to him." She said in a determined tone that my heart ached for her and tears welled up in my eyes.
" Yes, dear. But nothing will happen to you too. You're my life. You're my everything. I won't let anything happen to you."
