For a moment the man in front of Carl paid close attention to the direction of Carl's gaze which he thought was not looking at him.
"Tsk, apparently you didn't notice me."
The words just slipped out of the middle-aged man's lips.
Feeling that he heard Jonathan's faint cooing, Carl broke his reverie for a moment and looked at Jonathan who had been with him all along.
Carl took a deep breath.
"Sorry, it seems you're right, I can't stay here long, because my son is looking for me," Carl said in the end with firm sentences.
Like it or not, Jonathan had to say yes, after all, his goal of meeting Carl was because he wanted to get information out of Carl for information he might have missed.
Not long after Carl left there, leaving Jonathan.
.
.
During the trip to the hotel where he had been staying for a while, Carl's mind seemed to wander.
A message Carl sent to his son who had previously contacted him.
