"You're still the same as back then," said Daniel, who reminded himself again when he gave Jenni a surprise at that time.
The corners of Jenni's lips seemed perfectly lifted.
"Is that so?" Jenni asked Daniel.
Daniel nodded his head confirming Jenni's question.
"You want to come with me?" Jenni asked suddenly to Daniel who seemed to frankly give the green light to the young man to be able to re-enter her life.
"Of course, I will accompany you, and wouldn't it be better if we stay in touch with him and introduce Jaden to him?" whispered Daniel who became much more excited than before.
A smile Jenni gave to Daniel. She is happy if the prospective lover now in fact still remembers every memory he had when he was with her. So she doesn't have to hesitate if she suddenly gets nostalgic about their past memories, right?
Shortly after, they got ready to meet someone who was considered special by Jenni since she first liked the paintings she had been painting.
.
.
"Mommy, where are we going? Why did Daddy say we're going to meet Mommy's important guest today?" Said the little three-year-old boy.
Jenni looked at the boy, then nodded her head slowly.
"Yes, he is an important person, you could say one of Mommy's inspirations so that Mommy became a painter who always wanted to move forward," Jenni said while explaining to her son who was now sitting on his little bench in Daniel's car.
Jaden who heard it was just busy nodding his head, while Daniel, who saw it briefly from the rearview mirror, just held back a funny laugh at his son's behavior.
"I think Hil will like Jaden," said Daniel, which Jenni nodded in return.
"I can't wait to meet him."
"I think you've met him for a long time or you communicated with him while in France, because he does stay here."
A shake of Jenni's head gave Daniel.
"I'm not that brave, Hil is like something difficult for me to reach, even though we did meet him together it just doesn't mean we are friends right?"
Daniel smiled and soon ruffled Jenni's hair gently.
"Mommy's hair is a mess Daddy!" Jaden shouted from behind excitedly.
Daniel couldn't help but stop him and apologized to his little son who was like a little bodyguard to his mother.
"Okay Daddy, but next time don't ruin Mommy's neat hair."
Jenni wanted to laugh at Daniel, but of course, she hold as she could to not laugh at Daniel.
"No wonder you've been hiding it for almost four years because you want to hide his cuteness alone, don't you Jen?" Daniel whispered in the end to Jenni.
Jenni just chuckled softly hearing that. At first glance, the sentence was like a satire for her, but on the other hand, it was like humor in itself for her.
"Fortunately I gave birth to a smart and funny child in one complete package."
This time, of course, Daniel agreed with Jenni's words without any objections, because it was true that Jaden was like a complete package without any gaps.
Jaden, who had heard the compliment from his parents, just looked at his parents, because to be honest, he didn't really understand the conversation.
.
.
The trip to Jenni's gallery didn't take too long.
Jenni's heart beat faster when she realized that Daniel's car was now parked, and Daniel had carried his son while opening the car door for Jenni.
"Come down, Hil is waiting for you," Daniel said at last when he saw Jenni who still looks like she really idolizes Hil.
"Are my clothes too much?" Jenni asked nervously as she got out of the car wearing a pastel dress that looked elegant.
Daniel gave a small shake of the head, and before long Daniel said that Jenni was beautiful, and there was nothing extravagant about what the girl was wearing.
"Baby, Mommy is beautiful isn't she?" asked Daniel trying to increase Jenni's confidence level.
Jaden nodded his head to Daniel and Jenni.
"Let's go," Daniel said to Jenni who was now holding Daniel's arm.
.
.
"Ms, Mr. Hil is waiting for you in your room," said Ferly, who immediately greeted Jenni.
Jenni nodded her head and followed Ferly's footsteps.
Ferly who was in front of Jenni several times wanted to turn her head towards Daniel and Jaden.
The girl seemed to want to tell Jenni that her boss was like showing a happy little family.
(Sound of door opening)
"Hello, Mr. Hil, have you waited long?" Jenni whispered, who immediately gave Hil her greeting and smile.
"Hi Jen," said Hil who immediately shook Jenni's hand, and spontaneously looked at the figure beside Jenni.
"Are you Mr. Daniel?" asked Hil doubtfully.
"You're right, we haven't seen each other for a long time, Ah ... and this is our son ... Jaden," said Daniel shaking Hil's hand while introducing the son he had been carrying.
Hil's eyes of course immediately focused on the boy.
"You two are like twins," said Hil when he saw both Daniel's and Jaden's faces in turn.
This time Jenni confirmed Hil's words, because it is true that Jaden is like Daniel's twin, and for that reason, she can't forget Daniel one bit since leaving Daniel, especially when she gave birth to her son, her son's face always reminded her of Daniel.
"I almost forgot to congratulate you on your first gallery, why didn't you visit me while in France?" Said Hil who remembered his purpose in coming to Jenni's gallery specifically.
"Thank you, Mr. Hil, I didn't think that you remembered me," said Jenni, quite moved by what Hil, the owner of Dominique Hilaire's full name, had done.
Hil only showed his smile to Jenni.
"Dad, is that uncle a friend of Daddy and Mommy just like uncle Edward and uncle Axelle?" Jaden asked in a half whisper to Daniel.
"A little different, if uncle Edward and uncle Axelle are closer than friends, they are like your family too, but this uncle is like Daddy and Mommy's co-workers," Daniel whispered back to Jaden.
To be honest Jaden didn't really understand but he chose to nod his head.
'Adults are hard huh.'
