Jaden gives Carl a quick nod of the head in response.

Jaden couldn't stop smiling at Carl as if to tell Carl that the boy was currently happy.

He is proud to have a grandson who can understand him.
He is grateful that Jenni can educate him properly so that a three-year-old boy can really look more mature than other kids at Jaden's age, of course.
"Is there anything you want after we eat tonight?" asked Carl who always wanted to pamper his only grandson.
For a moment the boy stopped eating his food and stared at Carl intently.
"Can we take a walk first to spend time together?" Jaden asked suddenly.
To be honest Carl didn't understand what kind of way Jaden was actually talking about, and it was for that reason that Carl chose to ask again to make sure Jaden was about what his grandson had just said.
Jaden shrugged his shoulders slowly.
