After they said goodbye, Faolán started the car, while Alanna went to the check-in desk. The self-services were full and she didn't feel like waiting in line. She was already in a bad mood about having to walk away from Faolán and, most likely, having to deal with Morana and Tyr later.
The latter, Alanna ignored all messages and calls. He affronted Faolán and she felt as if she herself had been the victim. She had received the document from the treasurer, who worked overtime and was paid handsomely for it, and intended to read it during the trip. If the outcome was favorable for her, Tyr and his father could go to hell, and take Morana with them.
"Here, miss. It's through gate G." the attendant informed her, handing Alanna the boarding pass.
"Thanks."
