They walked around, looking for the cave. Alanna was feeling something pulling her. It was like a compass. She knew when the pull was indicating that she was closer to where she had to go. She knew it was it.
The night was there and Alanna refused to let it go. She had to find it, but Danika was tired and, of course, she had a point.
"We can't see in the dark, Alanna!" She said. "There is no point! We are wasting energy, only"
After a few tries from Danika, Alanna finally agreed to stop and rest a bit.
"We'll stay here for a little while."
"Okay." Danika said.
They found two rocks that would keep them secured from all the windy weather. Danika was not ready for that and felt like she was about to freeze to death. Alanna could only think about her baby. It had been days since Weylyn was taken. What if he was hurt? What if he was dead?
She had hope he wasn't, since she felt something inside her telling her that the boy was still alive.
