I stood there for quite some time and quickly managed to get a grasp of the game's rules. Each tile was a zone for combat but also created constant resources every turn based on its elements. Each tile has a secondary effect when flipped, but when a tile gets flipped, it loses all of its resources, and the tiles after the flipped one get destroyed.
The creatures standing on the destroyed tiles would immediately go to the graveyard.
Each player had elemental rats that cost nothing that they could summon anywhere to gather resources, three of them in total. When two monsters are deployed on the same tile, they engage in combat.
