I was curious about how Forren and Diego usually handled situations like this, so I followed them, though they managed to run outside my field of view at first. But thankfully, my shadows managed to locate him again; he had stopped in a rather secluded zone, and he allowed those thugs to stab him and shoot him.
'What the hell is he doing?' I thought. 'what's the point in all of this? Is that really all there is to their methods?'
Then I heard something weird—a plan to lie to Diego. Forren didn't know what lie they would use, but he asked them to fabricate something credible.
'What are you doing? Are you really going to trust these thuggish men? How can you be sure they'll keep their word? You and Diego may be immortals, but we aren't. Have you forgotten that again?'
