I managed to arrive just in time at work. As usual, I had to run and dress up in a hurry, which meant that I was a complete mess when I got out; some of my fur was in the way when putting on such a small uniform; the part around the neck was also always in the way; and I didn't even bother trying to tie the tie; I just walked with that thing hanging on my shoulder.
This time, as soon as I came out, Beatrice was there waiting for me. After the incident, she stopped coming to work for a while. She was wearing a uniform similar to mine instead of her usual casual clothes; she was wearing sunglasses inside the building and also gathered her brown hair in a braid that almost reached her waist.
"Welcome back." I greeted her with a smile, and she stopped me with her right hand before I could give her a hug.
Hannis: Is this the girl you've saved?
'Yes.'
She then began adjusting my uniform and tying up the tie around my neck.
