I expected things to change from that point onward, especially after such a close call. I imagined everyone would put all they got into their training, but instead they lazed around, complaining about irrelevant issues.
I slammed my fist on the kitchen table and immediately caught everyone's attention. Everyone fell silent, and all of them were waiting to speak.
"We wasted the time spent on that island; we should've worked ten times harder, but we can still do something about it. From now on, the amount of time spent on training will be raised, and the intensity will also go up along with it." I made this announcement while Forren was serving me breakfast.
