When I woke up, I was happily laying on a comfortable bed; the ceiling was extremely close to me, and the temperature was controlled by a machine on the other side of a small hole that kept sending warm air.
The bed sheet was orange and had a bunch of small stars drawn all over; the dawn-filled comforter was also covered in a large sheet of the same set, and so was the pillow.
As I turned my head around, I saw Giovanni laying in a bed next to me; he had normal bed sheets and covers that were blue with no patterns, as were the rest of the other beds.
'Why am I—is it because I'm still underage? True, I'm not as old as they are, but I'm not a kid either. Why is Ellen treated like an adult then?' I complained as I tried to get back up.
I bumped my head against the ceiling; the gray ceiling was a little closer than I expected. After that small incident, I had fully woken up, so I looked around to guess where I was.
