The armor felt a bit stuffy, but at least I could now move around with relative ease. Next up was testing the armor, and it functioned just as advertised. It significantly boosted the speed and elasticity of my aura, with the drawback of only being able to summon from certain parts of my body, mainly the heel, the palm of my hand, the back of my knees, my elbows, and a couple of places behind my backs.
Gale also added a couple of functions to the armor, such as the ability to activate certain spells by simply yelling special keywords, and then he added a bunch of keywords to shift the armor in various forms. Not that I could use any of them, but it was nice to have the option.
The armor, the upgrades, and the weapon that was also part of the same set ended up costing a total of 100,000 points, roughly one-fourth of what we had gained by slaying the deer.
