When I woke up, the ceiling was dark as usual, and I was still feeling pretty numb. My last memory was of fighting a demon and beating it until it had lost consciousness. I remember having suffered a pretty heavy injury; a part of my abdomen was completely missing, one of my arms was barely attached to my body, and my right leg was bent in ways that shouldn't be possible.
As I sighed, small bubbles came out of my mouth. I was inside the enhancing vat, and as I checked with my hand on the injured part of my body, I found out they had healed just fine; they weren't replaced by cold, hard steel. But instead, it was completely regenerated. I could still feel the nanobots slowly working on my body. They began pinching me in order to stop me from moving, as they were digging extremely small holes into my body.
