The transformation lasted only a couple of weeks before I returned to normal. In those two weeks, I had to constantly walk on eggshells, trying not to accidentally set anything on fire due to the flames coming out of my body. Not only that but I was forced to consume three times as much food to keep my body relatively healthy.
We took our time to familiarize ourselves with the new terrain. The beautiful new environment was full of dangerous magical beasts, and each being in that forest was significantly larger than its more normal counterpart, to the point where I wondered if we weren't the ones that got smaller in such a vast place. Not only that, but we weren't the only ones living there.
