That day, Alex returned home late, covered in sweat. He didn't bring anything back with him; he had probably just trained hard for his abilities and tested the limits of his body. It was something only he could do so easily—push his body to its limits without fear of dying.
From that day on, we resumed our training with Alex. We were forbidden from using our abilities while he was only using his abilities to attack us. What he would do was use his powers to recreate some of the animals he saw, plus the giant snakes, and order us to avoid getting hit.
He was extremely brutal with us; although the training would last only for about four hours whenever time was up, we were all exhausted. What was even worse for Giovanni, on the other hand, was that he was also tasked with taking care of the creature we just caught.
