Apparently Alex's clone managed to dive inside that weird area, quickly grab my body, and swim out of there. After that, he quickly ran up to Alex, who was busy covering Max's back; even though he had the powers to finish the fight instantly, he would still hold back. Even when one of us had died, he was still holding back.
Max was trying to find a way to improve and evolve his ability in the middle of the fight, trying various combinations of shapes and sizes of the blade ability to evolve it. Marcello, on the other hand, seemed to be struggling a lot; he was using himself as bait to lure the biggest snake away from them, but unfortunately for him, the snake was long and large enough to keep attacking both sides, so at the end all of his efforts were useless.
