Kale Smith, one of the heartthrob and handsome guy in the campus, tall, athletic body , black slick hair, fine chiseled jaw,baby blue eyes etc . He is an athlete specifically a footballer, and has a minor degree in English literature which I and Beth are so basically he is our course mate.
Although , he is handsome and all that and girls chase after him round the campus , to me he is the most annoying and immature guy I have ever seen in my life.
He transferred to our school when we were in our second level, and that time he is the talk of the school [well, except from I and Beth] .
I guess he noticed so he started bullying and disturbing Beth to the extent that she became the enemy of campus belle [ I still haven't figure out why he did not disturb me though} Beth was a shy and timid girl that time so she couldn't fight back but there was one incident that made me had enough of the bully.
FLASH BACK
After the lecture that day , I was so tired and want to sleep so I had to go to the restroom to wash my face , when I got into the girls' restroom I heard someone sobbing and I thought is one of those girls who had an heartbreak or something so I did not even bother about it and went ahead for my mission.
When I got closer I heard a familiar voice from on of the toilet cubicle , afraid I had to kick the door open because it was locked from inside. Then I saw the scene that I can never forget in my life.
Beth , my first and only friend on the toilet floor, beaten to almost death, mumbling to herself " what did I ever do to deserve this" . looking at her in that state my heart sank , I know when I moved towards her and started crying with her , I, Amelia Winters the bravest girl crying like a baby .
"Beth, what happened? Who did you like this ?"
" Lia [sniff] I am tired already,what did I ever do to deserve this?"
" Tell me seriously , who did this? I will avenge you trust me"
" Lia , it is the campus belle, Stella, she said I need to be punished because I always gain the attention of Kale "
" WHAT! is she crazy or something? don't worry she shall hear from me soon [ smirking]"
Later that day, I went to the vice-chancellor to report on bullying with the evidence from the security camera in the restroom , the second day Stella and her entourage were given expulsion from school as a punishment .
Since that day I started teaching Beth to come out of her shell, we went for shopping to change our look , clothe etc from then on we became the talk of the campus that we had a nickname "The doll besties"
Mainly because be look like doll because we both have 5'3 in height, both have small boobs but I always say mine is bigger though, both are red hair but she has deep blue eyes while mine is greenish blue eyes, while she has pointed and sharp oval face , I have a very round face , her nose is long and pointed while mine is small and button like nose, I have a milky white pale skin and her's is a little darker , so I can proudly say I have a beautiful best friend.
We later discovered that Kale has a crush on Beth that is the reason for the pestering and bullying but I still do not like him a bit because he is the reason why Beth almost died.
