Chapter 26 - World Federation and Earth Destruction

The World Federation or the common people simply called them the Federation, formed about three hundred years ago with the initial name of the Federation of World Nobles. Founded by bureaucratic capitalists and bourgeois capitalists in all corners of the earth.

Although at first, only one or two noble families formed military forces for their families secretly, slowly the movement was followed by almost all the nobles who existed at that time.

Gradually, the military power and supply of funds from the alliance defeated one by one the government of the country where they built palaces and castles for their descendants.

The gathering of the military power of the nobles finally met resistance, not only from the government in charge at that time but also from the people of the lower middle class.

A great war is inevitable, thorough in every existing land. Millions of victims died to quell the lust of the nobles. Although in the end—after a decade-long war—it was the combined military power of the nobles that dominated.

This is the beginning where all countries in the world, even countries that used to be so strong with the nickname superpower did not move. Fractured. No more America, Great Britain... not even Indonesia.

Since then, the Federation of World Nobles has established itself as ruler of every land, sea, and air on Earth. Confirming their name to be the World Federation. And from that moment on, they from the lower middle class lived a life like a street dog.

Likewise, the fate of one or two nobles who at that time opposed the ambitions of other nobles.

Bad, really bad.

Some of the nobles who lost in the war died by being beheaded in public, along with their descendants.

As the greed of the nobles who later became Federation Leaders exploited the Earth, along with that, the Earth was increasingly destroyed and far from beautiful.

One hundred years after the formation of the Federation, natural disasters are becoming more and more frequent in every hemisphere.

At that time, technology and space studies had progressed rapidly. Well, all thanks to the uninterrupted flow of funds from the nobles themselves.

With the frequent occurrence of natural disasters, the top brass poured huge funds to build an aircraft carrier. In order to avoid a despicable death—in their eyes—they chose to leave Motherland.

And a hundred years ago, the higher-ups of the Federation had been living comfortably far beyond Earth's atmosphere, inside the SOF carrier – the State of Federation.

With everything controlled by the Federation, every spaceship that leaves Earth is under SOF's watch.

That absolute power is what the Lord of Pangandaran hopes to stop or at least punish Dharma and friends.

The natural struggle continued until it entered the third day since the incident at the Bukit Barisan. Events after events continue to propagate to various corners of the earth. The ancient giants that had been asleep for a long time seemed to hear the screams of the trumpet, one by one awakened from their silence.

On the American continent, tornadoes are constantly hit. Even of a size never seen before, so huge and terrifying, destroying anything in their path. The tornadoes were like the fingers of the Angel of Death, targeting one by one the people who run to save themselves.

The same thing happened in mainland Europe, with hot wind storms that tortured and even killed.

There is no winter and no snow, all replaced by a prolonged dry season since the middle of the 23rd century. From Asia to Australia, which is more miserable.

A gigantic tornado incarnated even with layers of a smoldering fire like hell's piles pierced the earth. Everything in existence shattered into pieces, razed to the ground. Millions of old buildings collapsed, dozens of palaces and castles that were so arrogant became helpless. Dozens of spaceships – which were supposed to take their owners away from the earth – were destroyed formless, partly with the destruction of their MRO buildings.

The news never stops, continuously broadcasts recordings of terrible earth activities, even some channels broadcast live. The images recorded directly by the Spy-Drone seemed to sneer at those who were outcasts, spitting in their faces in deliberate horror.

Scientists are vying for their descriptive hypotheses and explanations. So arrogant, without empathy, conveying their respective opinions as if they were the most correct. Of course, this exacerbated the fear on the faces of everyone who watched the show on all the holoboards, and the commoners could only be helpless without being able to do anything for their safety.

Yeah, those outcasts know for sure. Those arrogant scientists, the nobles who belonged to the Federation, and some of the gangster bastards had the means to avoid the disaster that the scientists predicted. The means that will transport them, leaving Motherland as they have always wanted since centuries ago.

In fact, the actions of those who are competing to improve technology in every sector of life, including the study of outer space and all its details, have played a major role in the destruction of Mother Earth.

Radioactive exposure from obsolete laboratories used in research and development of atomic nuclei. Nuclear waste is no longer accommodated by the ground. Plus, dredging to the deepest part of the earth. Also, the willful negligence of mining refineries.

Yes, Motherland is no longer livable.

Following Dharma's orders, Hyker brought SC45 among dozens of other spacecraft that had already reached the exosphere zone. Thus, Dharma hoped that if the Federation tried to attack, perhaps they would think twice about it. If the Federation insists, other nearby planes will be affected by the attack. And that means a loss for the Federation side, for sure.

The spacecraft seem to be parked in the outer orbit of the Earth, overlapping a certain distance from one another, with various shapes and sizes of aircraft. The SC45 aircraft commanded by Dharma is classified as the smallest spacecraft for a cargo-type spacecraft when compared to the same type of aircraft.

"Stay alert!" Dharma patted Hyker's shoulder.

Hyker nodded, the corner of his eye following the captain's footsteps until the captain exited the cockpit.

"Good job, guys!" Hyker said to Pical, Quinn, and Oryza. "Just keep all your weapons ready—well, you know!"

Pical, Quinn, and Oryza perfectly understood what Hyker meant. Although it was time to breathe a sigh of relief because they were able to leave Earth's inner orbit and be in this outermost area, it was not enough. The Federation sitting comfortably on SOF must have detected their presence, just like all the planes floating out there.

"Wow!" Hyker smiled.

From his seat, he could see how beautiful the Earth was, even though it was no longer completely blue, as he had heard from people before. Or from video views on any platform so far.

Hyker's eyes were filled with sadness. He took a very deep breath, and his breath was a form of regret at what Mother Earth had experienced.

"You are not as beautiful as before…"

Quinn, Pical, and Oryza witnessed what Hyker meant. They were the same, a look of sadness and loss that was so great overshadowed their gaze on the planet that was once known as the Blue Planet. Now, that glowing red hue is popping up on its round form. Incandescent fire from many points occasionally emits flames that extend.
