4 years after Beth became a warlock,
Beth broke through and became a rank 1 official warlock, forming two innate spells, namely, Intimidating Aura and the other being Dragon scale defense.
According to the A.I. chip's estimate, she would now only need to cultivate for another 3 years to break through to rank 2 due to the purity of her bloodline and abundant resources that she had to aid her cultivation.
Currently, they were both standing next to an experiment table.
"Hm, finally, I refined it!" Tirus rejoiced as he inspected the newly brewed potion with great focus.
This potion's name was Nightshade essence.
He used the A.I. chip to create a potion formula that utilized the blood of kobolds as the main ingredient, since the population of kobolds inside the secret plane had reached one hundred thousand.
Although the secret plane could easily house approximately 500 million kobolds due to its immense land area, he still thought that their population was enough to become a new source of revenue for the guild.
"We can sell it to the other guilds without any restraint and earn a lot of money!" Beth exclaimed in joy.
Tirus had told her that he had the formulas of three ancient potions, but they required precious materials for refinement, and they didn't really have much value or were just not safe for them to sell yet.
The potion that was unsafe to sell was named 'Daelop's blood', it was a potion excellent for the cultivation of rank 2 and above magi. But if they were to sell it, then they'd probably become the dark elven empire's primary target.
The other two potions, Tears of Mary and Thamion's essence, really did need very precious ingredients, and Tirus didn't want to waste those ingredients on large-scale productions.
"What are its effects?" She inquired.
"It can help in the cultivation of rank 1 and below magi, and is excellent for the cultivation of dark element." Tirus gave her the description he got from the A.I. chip.
"I see, so, shall I make preparations for the large-scale production of this potion in the secret plane?" She asked.
"Hm, do it, no need to ask me." He replied, turning around to leave.
….
A month later,
In the territory of Sacred Bone mountain,
An official magus wearing the uniform of the dark dawn guild with a large container filled with Nightshade essence was flying over to the headquarters.
"I am the official magus Karl, I am here to complete the transaction." He said in a low tone which magically resounded throughout the whole mountain.
"Esteemed magus, please land on the ground, the payment is ready." A magus in dark green robes said from below.
Karl didn't dare to be reckless, as this was a transaction of the dark dawn guild with another mid-scale guild.
"Here are the 50 vials of Nightshade potion your guild requested." He said after he landed in front of the magus.
"Hm, and here are the 2.5 million magic crystals as the payment." The magus said while showing a storage pouch.
"Good."
Soon, the transaction ended as he made his way to the guild.
It was now his daily routine to finish large-scale transactions for the guild, his sister, Hannah was doing similar missions.
By the time they both became official magi, the dark dawn guild had already started selling potions to other guilds along with magical tools and materials.
But lately, the trade had become quite hectic due to the growing demand of the Nightshade potion.
….
In the dark elven empire,
The grand matriarch Enuci's castle,
"Grand Matriarch, the matriarchs of the most of the smaller clans have recovered from their injuries. We can attack the humans at any time." A female dark elf reported to the grand matriarch.
The Dark Elven Empire was a matriarchal society and was more a united kingdom made of numerous smaller clans than anything else.
The matriarchs of the smaller clans were at least as strong as official Magi.
"Hm, no, just because we have recovered doesn't mean that this is the best time to attack them. Those human magi must also have recovered." The grand matriarch, Enuci, dismissed the idea after a few seconds.
"Then shall we stand guard?" The female dark elf asked.
"Yes, and tell me more about this dark dawn guild." Enuci inquired about the new mid-scale human guild with a gaze filled with curiosity.
"Yes, your highness." She paused and then continued, "The new human guild named 'Dark Dawn' was established by a rank 2 magus named Tirus. His origins are mysterious, but there are rumors that he was a rogue magus before the recent war.
Then he broke-through to rank 2 in seclusion and attacked and annexed a small-scale guild a few years ago."
"Oh, quite interesting." Enuci amused expression.
"Report me if they do anything significant, and attack the kobold empire, they only have one rank 3 kobold and most of their rank 2 experts are dead. They are an easy target."
"Understood, your highness." The dark elf bowed and exited.
"Dark dawn guild, huh." Enuci murmured with a contemplative gaze.
'When will this war end.' She thought with a solemn expression.
