Chapter 50 - Chapter 50. Joining Jupiter's Lightning

Tirus decided to use the teleportation formation that Bryan used to come here. But to nobody's shock, the teleportation entrance located in the central continent had been destroyed.

"No problem, we have aother teleportation formation, but you will be hypnotised to you don't remember anything about its location, are you okay with it?" Tirus asked Bryan who had a complicated expression on his face.

After contemplating for a while, he agreed on using the other teleportarion formation.

...

White light enveloped all of them as they were teleported inside an unknown jungle.

'We have arrived on the central continent.' He thought as he made a garbbing motion in the air and Bryan snd other hypnotized magi were suspended in mid-air.

Tirus flew high into the sky and commanded the A.I. chip to scan the area. The entire area of 300 km² was covered in lush green vegetation with lots of magical beasts living in it. But of course, they were no threat to Tirus.

Tirus transformed into a mass of black light along with Bryan ane other magi and travelled out of the forest with an hours.

*Snap*

Tirus spanned his fingers and the hypnosis on magi's mind was broken. They looked confused for a second but soon regained their composure.

"Lord, we are in the central continent, here almost all magi talk in the ancient Byron language so there's no communication barrier here."

Bryan explained the social and geographical structure of the central continent in great detail.

For a magus, learning the ancient Byron language was a must and thus Tirus naturally knew the language.

"How long will it take for us to reach the headquarters of Jupiter's lightning?"

"Lord, we first have to make contact with the closest airlines, then we can borrow a flying ship and reach the place within 3~4 days."

"Hm, fine." Tirus replied in a nonchalant manner. He didn't need to worry if the other party lying because he had made him make an oath in the name of his truesoul.

...

Hours passed and they boarded a flying ship,

At Night,

After having a luxurious meal, Tirus was in his room, staring at the moon from the window.

'It really had been a long time since I last saw the moon, huh.'

During his stay of more than 140 years in the twilight zone, Tirus hadn't left the place at all. Although he never really cared about trivial matters like looking at the moon, he still couldn't ignore the beauty that this world had to offer.

Days continued to pass, Tirus noticed the scenery of the central continent from the flying ship.

The lush green forests, the prosperous cities, the dangerous looking mountains and valleys.

All of it mezmerised Tirus to no extent.

'No wonder the nameless wanderer spent his enitre life travelling the world. How could someone who witnessed this beauty have any regret even if they died exploring it.'

As he saw more of what this wonderous continent had to offer, he started to understand the feelings of the namesless wanderer more and more.

"Should I plan to travel someday..Maybe, when I'm at radiant moon realm, hm.' Tirus fell into deep thought while staring at the bewitching waterfall below.

'When I reach rank 5, I will conquer a world, then I'll travel that entire world, yes, that's a great plan.' A smile crept upon his face as he thought of this.

...

The time passed by in a blink of an eye and they arrived at the headquarters of Jupiter's lightning.

Hadleigh plains,

This was the name of this place where the headquarters of the organization was.

'Was this situated here in the canon? Maybe not.'

'Ah well, its almost 3,000 years prior, so of course most things aren't the same.'

Tirus pondered about the name of this place and soon, their flying ship landed faraway from the headquarters and a mechanical voice resounded in the surroundings.

"Who is it? State your purpose within ten seconds or else we will attack."

"I am the rank 2 magus Bryan. I was able to survive the attack of the unknown warlocks during my mission all because of this lord." Bryan said in a calm voice which travelled far and wide.

"Release your signature radiation for us to confirm." The mechanical voice instructed Bryon to realse his signature radiation.

Every magus had the ability to change their appearance however they wanted, including their fingerprints and even their retina, and thus they invented the method of scanning a magi's signature radiation.

Each magus had their own unique radiation, this was called signature radiation.

Soon, Bryan released his radiation and then, a passage leading to an underground facility revealed itself below them.

"Enter." The mechanical voice commanded.

Soon, they were led to an entrance to a secret plane. The headquarters and the inner circle of the organization was built inside a secret plane for security purposes.

...

After entering the secret plane and a series of checks on both of them, they were taken to a massive, luxurious white hall. The rank 1 magi were taken somewhere else.

On the main seat, rank 4 magi was sitting with an expressionless face. This magus was Zegna. Tirus really didn't know the exact inside situation of this organization as he hadn't read that part of the novel, but he still didn't really care, 'I simply don't care about anything as long as I get what I need.' Tirus secretly thought.

After Tirus explained their side of the story, he was met with a genuine smile of Zegna.

"Magus Tirus, this continent is vast and foreign to you, and you seem like a capable person, do you wish to join our organization?" He asked frankly.

"Hm, please give me some time to think about it." Tirus didn't immediately accept the offer. After living for a century, his patience had increased by leaps and bounds.

"Okay, I understand, then please stay here until you come up with an answer." Zegna said while exiting the room. He was a smart person, he understood Tirus's intentions clearly and knew that it was only a matter of time before he joined.

It was only natural for an organization if they wanted to recruit as many strong people as possible.

To be continued...
