Chapter 40 - Chapter 40. Managing the secret plane, the magi council

A few days after kidnapping the kobolds,

Tirus entered the secret plane along with Beth.

"We have merged the 3 human cities into one big human kingdom, with nobles and a puppet king to control the people and the knights. The resource points are being maintained by the peasants." Beth started explaining the changes she made in the secret plane with a proud expression.

"As for the kobolds, we used the same technique, we have made created a council full of kobolds who have been secretly enslaved by us. Their population isn't growing at a very fast rate, though."

"No worries, I have a solution for that." Tirus said with a grin plastered on his face while showing her a vial filled with bright pink liquid.

"What potion is this?"

"This potion can be used along with a spell to change a specie's natural habits, it can be used on a large group at once. We will use this potion to have the kobolds reproduce at a rapid pace" This potion and the spell used along with it were both created by the A.I. chip, he barely had to do anything. But here he was, taking all the credit.

"Genius, master, you're truly genius!" Beth exclaimed in surprise, clasping her hands together.

Female kobolds only needed around 60 days worth of time to give birth to the next generation. The reason why their population was so low was mainly because of their low fertility rate.

"What will you name it?"

"Instinct distortion potion." Tirus came up with a name for his new potion on the spot. To be honest, even he wasn't so good when it came to naming things.

….

Two months after Tirus used instinct distortion potion, the population of the kobolds increased from 800 to 1300.

Four months after that, the population increased from 1300 to 2100.

Eight months after that, the population of the kobolds continued to increase and reached a total of 3700.

Tirus made use of the 'puppet council' of the kobolds to secretly take out kobolds without anyone knowing.

He started doing experiments on bloodline purification and ignition, as well as extraction.

Many kobolds died due to this, but their dead bodies were still full of precious materials which could be used to brew potions excellent for acolytes.

Their scales were used to create magical leather tools.

Not a single nail was wasted. The magic tools and potions were used to increase the battle strength of the members of the guild. Slowly, they reached a point where they could easily take down an entire average small-scale guild.

The extra materials and tools were sold to other small-scale guilds, due to which, their wealth increased day by day.

….

2 years later,

Tirus was in his secret laboratory, looking at the glass container as big as a small room, filled with a golden-red liquid. It was the bloodline of the ancient red fiery dragon.

'Finally, I now have the ancient bloodline, now I can use this...' Thinking that, he glanced at a book he held in his hands. It was the high-grade meditation technique "Dragon king's mystic might".

The Dark dawn guild had attacked and annexed many small-scale guilds in this period of two years. All the members of the annexed guilds had their soul searched and meditation techniques taken, which revealed information about several high-grade meditation techniques and led to him obtaining this technique.

'A.I. chip, store the contents of high-grade meditation technique "dragon king's mystic might" and optimize it.'

[Task established… It will take approximately 20 days 13 hours to optimize the technique]

'Perfect.' He exclaimed internally. The ancient red dragon bloodline was a magical beast at rank 5. If anyone were to use this bloodline for themselves, then they'd have no problems breaking through to rank 5, but they won't have any chance to break through to rank 6 due to their bloodline limit.

However there was a small chance of break through, given that the warlock comes in contact with the power of laws. But the possibility of that ever happening was quite low. Comprehending even 0.0001% of any law as a radiant moon magi was nigh impossible.

In the canon, Leylin was able to do it because he had devoured the fire laws cultivated by the blazing flame monarch, but even then, he could only comprehend less than 1% of the fire laws due to his rank being too low.

And radiant moon magi didn't even meet the lowest requirements to come in contacts with the laws. They'd have to cultivate until their spiritual force and soul force reaches the peak of rank 5 and then transform their negative energy into positive energy, thus entering the realm of breaking dawn, thereafter, they'd be eligible to come in contact with the laws.

And so, it was almost impossible for a warlock with a rank 5 bloodline to ever reach rank 6. That was, unless they comprehended a little bit of any law through some tremendous fortuitous encounter, and even then, there may be some complications during their break through to rank 6 due to their bloodline shackles.

....

In the guild alliance of the eastern region, magi,

"This dark dawn guild…hm." Leon looked at the report on the desk.

He was the head of this council, and he had been monitoring this guild for quite a while now.

It was rumored that the leader of this guild was a rank 2 magi. He suddenly appeared along with approximately 20 other people and annexed the Sun Forge guild in a single day.

At that time, he thought that this must've been a peak rank 1 magi who recently broke through to rank 2. Which could explain why he didn't appear in the war against the dark elves that happened a few years ago. But it was just his theory.

He didn't intend to bother with this rank 2 magi if possible, considering the fact that he himself was quite injured. However since this new dark dawn guild had become a mid-scale one, he had to go and properly greet them.

'Tirus, huh, there are no records of him…maybe he was a rouge.'

"Whatever, I'll ask him myself when I get there." He murmured as he got up from his seat and cast a flight spell on himself.

Although he was the leader of the council, he was still only at rank 2, the same realm as the leader of the dark dawn guild, Tirus, and since the dark dawn guild hadn't made any contacts with other organizations, it was quite difficult to call Tirus here for a talk as if may seem quite rude.

If this was before the war against the dark elves, then this kind of situation would never occur. Originally, the leaders of the human race were a few rank 3 magi who had together formed a party, but now, all of them were severely injured and were recovering in seclusion.

If not for the defensive measures they set to protect this region from the dark elves before going into seclusion, then the results would've been quite horrifying for the humans.

To be continued…
