*Boom*
Sound of a massive explosion resounded as the three leader of the Sun forge Tower were alerted.
"Who dared to attack us?" Trever roared in fury as he made his way out of the conference hall along with Jared and Roddy.
Once they were outside, they saw a semi-transparent wall of black glass covering their entire guild.
"What the hell? This is...beyond what a rank 1 magi should be able to do!" Jared exclaimed in horror, prostrating on the ground.
"Senior, please don't be violent, tell us, who offended you?"
"Hm, an acolyte of your guild disrespected me, so as compensation, I want all of your heads." Jared's sincere apology was met with cold, indifferent voice.
"Senior, you are being unreasonable." Trever said in a pleading tone, but seeing all of this, the third leader, Roddy had already understood that this will be the last day of their life.
"Enough, stop blabbering and accept your fate." The indifferent voice from before which seemed as if someone deliberately distorted it suddenly became clear.
One could tell that it was a voice, a man. Soon, they saw a man in black magus robes, flying in the air. He was around 6 feet (182.88 cm) tall, had jet black hair and eyes along with a pale white skin which seemed to have cracks on it.
This magus was Tirus, and currently he was in his ashen zombie form.
"If this is the end, so be it, I'll die fighting rather than begging." Trever, Roddy and Jared roared as they charged towards Tirus.
*Boom*
The sound of a huge explosion occured as a multitude of rank 1 spells crashed on to Tirus's shield created by his rank 1 innate spell. This shield looked as if it was made up of a semi-transparent crystal, able to defend against anything.
"You're all so weak that I don't even need to use spells." Tirus said in a monotone voice, and this was a fact. A higher ranked magus could easily kill magi of a lower rank with just their radiation.
*Weng* *Weng*
Sound of an electric current could be heard as the three leaders of the Sun forge Tower spat several mouthfuls of blood. Throwing their spiritual force into chaos.
"Argh!" Roddy felt a sharp pain in his chest as he tried to control his coughing fit.
In a moment, Tirus transformed into a black light and appeared next to Roddy. He was so shocked to see his enemy travel at such a fast speed that he forgot to even react.
Tirus made a grabbing motion towards him and,
*Bam*
All of Roddy's defenses were destroyed in a second. Tirus put his hand gently of Roddy's head as he said "Mhm, really, so weak." in disappointment.
Even though he was just toying with them at this point, but he still expected a bit more from them.
"Arrgh!" Roddy screamed in pain, he felt his vision blurring the next moment.
"Not so fast." Tirus said as dark fog covered him and he touched Roddy's forehead as threw him towards the two other magi.
*Boom*
Roddy's body exploded as soon as it came in contact with the other two magi, this was all because of Tirus's rank 2 innate spell, 'Touch of the End'.
After a minute, the dust cleared and revealed the mangled corpse of the three magi leaders.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, what a mess." Tirus murmured, making his way towards the corpses, he made a grabbing motion and a dark palm brought three souls to him. It was the souls of the magi he killed just now.
He closed his eyes as he said, "Beth, have you completed the task?"
"Yes, Tirus, we have killed every single one of the 20 or so remaining mages and have taken their souls. No acolytes were killed." Beth replied from afar.
"Good." He said as he ended the sound transmission.
It had now been a month since they entered the Twilight Zone. In this past month, all they did was gathering of information while lying low for their safety.
They discovered that this small organization called Sun forge Tower, they didn't even control a single mortal kingdom and had lost most of its members in a previous battle with the dark elves.
That is the reason Tirus chose to conduct such a hostile takeover. All the other guilds in the eastern region of Twilight Zone were in a similarly weakened situation. So no one would care if a single small-scale guild was exterminated.
….
After an hour, Tirus was standing on a platform created from white marble while all other acolytes present in the guild prostrated themselves while his branded swordsmen stood guard along with Beth.
This guild was truly a small-scale one, only having over 200 acolytes. Although they had lost their members in the skirmish against the dark elves, this number was still pathetically low according to Tirus.
But it was also good news to him. The lesser the number of members at start, the better the foundation he could lay for future development.
"All the surviving members of the guild, I am the one who did all this. I am a rank 2 magus, and from this moment onwards, I am the leader.
Not only that, I am going to bring immense changes in this organisation. If you cooperate, then you will get the benefits, if you resist, then you will have a fate worse than death."
Tirus made a declaration with induced fear into the hearts of all acolytes, the scene of their masters being crushed like ants had traumatized them to such an extent that the only thing they now wanted was to live, and they'd do anything for that.
"I summon the Trial's Eye."
Soon, dark clouds enveloped the entire area as a gigantic, horrifying eye revealed itself above everyone present, looking down on all of them.
"From this day onwards, you are the members of the 'Dark Dawn Guild'. You can never leave this organisation and if you do, then your physical body will be destroyed and your soul will be burnt in flames for a thousand years.
Agree to the conditions and you will get my leadership in return." Tirus said expressionlessly.
The acolytes could only accept or die, so of course all of them chose the former.
Everyone wanted to live, that was the basic instinct of every living being.
From this day onwards, there will never be another Sun forge guild in the Twilight Zone. Only the Dark Dawn guild.
To be continued…
