In the Crimson bone academy,
It was already evening, the newcomers had already checked talent grade and had already arrived in the academy.
Currently, in one of the academy dorms, there was a 13-year-old boy with wavy brown hair, brown eyes and a slim yet robust physique.
This boy was naturally Tirus, currently, he was changing into his academy uniform, preparing to go greet his professor.
The robes of the Crimson Bone academy were scarlet red with a gray skull as their insignia. Beneath the robes, they were given a full sleeve gray t-shirt and pant to wear beneath their robes to make movements easy. Both of them were lightweight and were made up of a soft yet strong fabric.
"Oh god they're so comfortable to wear!" Tirus exclaimed. He really loved robes as they were comfortable to wear and looked good. Even back in his estate, he always tried to wear loose, comfortable clothes.
He didn't waste any more time before he rushed to where his professor was.
.....
"So, you are Tirus, I presume." A tall yet skinny looking man in scarlet robes asked. His robes were different from that of Tirus's as it had a black skull insignia instead of a gray one.
"Yes, sir." Tirus firmly replied.
"Hm, I am David, I major in Transfiguration and am quite skilled in potioneering as well. Since transfiguration is my strong point, I'll teach you that, but if you wish to learn about alchemy, then you'd have to pay me money." David didn't hold back at all while stating what he could and what he could not teach him for free.
He wasn't a particularly straightforward guy, but in front of a child who wasn't even an acolyte, there was no reason for him to hold back.
"Yes, sir I understand!" Tirus replied while bowing his head once.
"Hm, good. Now, do you have any idea of what transfiguration is?"
"Yes, sir, transfiguration is a branch of alchemy that focuses on the modification or creation of new lifeforms through a systematic process." Tirus told David whatever he knew.
"Mhm, not quite accurate but still, good enough." David nodded his head in satisfaction as he said, "So, Tirus, are you willing to take me as your master?"
"Yes, sir." Tirus said as his surroundings suddenly got shrouded in darkness while a huge eye started at them from above.
"Now, Tirus, recite after me!"
"I am willing to become Magus David's student"
"I am willing to become Magus David's student"
…
"I, magus David acknowledge Tirus as my student."
This process didn't take much time as it was only establishing a mentor disciple relationship. There were little to no restrictions aside from following the conditions previously mentioned in the list.
It was 3,000 years before the canon started, so of course there was no restriction about not divulging the method of magus cultivation to outsiders, not that Tirus had planned to make anyone magus.
After acknowledging David as his mentor, Tirus was given a crystal ball by him.
This crystal ball contained the cultivation method for the acolytes.
After Tirus sat on his room's bed, he started staring at the crystal ball with all his focus.
[Data is being sent directly to host's mind, Accept Yes/No]
The A.I. chip inquired Tirus for permission.
"Yes, scan and record the information as well." After giving the A.I. chip the permission he added another task. His head started to hurt as if it would explode at any moment.
Once the pain ended, his mind was filled with the information about acolyte cultivation.
[A.I. chip has successfully recorded the data.] The A.I. chip gave a prompt as it started to organize the data in his head.
After five minutes, Tirus started his first-ever magus cultivation session.
He inhaled and exhaled in a certain rhythm as the veins all over his body started to bulge.
He kept cultivating for half an hour, after that, he opened his eyes.
"Aw, my head hurts like hell!" Tirus felt an awful headache after the meditation session. Magus cultivation was different from knight cultivation. It was a tedious and tiring process. Slight headaches during the first few days were a common thing. But as long as he could become a grade 1 acolyte, he would stop experiencing this pain and his body would have it's vitality increased due to the constant radiation.
Tirus rolled up in his bed as he covered himself with a blanket and slept soundly without even eating dinner.
He was too tired from this long journey, even though he had a knight level constitution, he was still mentally fatigued.
