Chapter 5 - Walter Gregg's chambers.

**Depending on the necessities of the plotline, the author will now alternate between the names Triston and Aarav (as Aarav's soul transmigrated into Triston's body).**

As they walked away from the stable, Aarav questioned in his mind, 'Hey, self-claimed system, can you tell me something about Anna? She is acting so concerned, but I don't even know her.'

[Anna Gregg is a beautiful and talented young woman with a heart of gold. As a childhood friend of Triston, she has grown up alongside him and has been a steadfast source of support for him throughout their childhood. Anna is one of the most gifted young people in the kingdom, with the rare blessing of the Goddess of Air, Betrix. This blessing has given her incredible magical abilities, which she uses to protect and defend the kingdom from danger.

Anna is the only daughter of Walter Gregg, an advisor to the King of the Histon Empire. Her father is a powerful figure in the Royal Palace, and many noble families vie for Anna's hand in marriage. Despite the pressure to marry for political advantage, Anna's father recognizes that she is a warrior at heart and cannot be bound in marriage unless there is love. He decides to postpone the marriage contract as long as possible, hoping that Anna will find her true love before she is forced into an unwanted marriage.

To keep Anna safe and away from the political machinations of the court, her father sends her to the borders of the Kingdom to stop the demon invasion. Anna accepts the challenge eagerly, using her magical abilities and warrior spirit to lead the charge against the invading forces. She is a fierce and formidable opponent, and her bravery inspires those around her.

Despite the danger she faces, Anna remains kind-hearted and compassionate. She cares deeply for those around her and will go to great lengths to protect them. Her love for Triston is evident, and she is always there to support him in times of need. With her beauty, talent, and warrior spirit, Anna is a force to be reckoned with, and her presence is felt throughout the kingdom.]

As Aarav listened to his explanations, Anna screamed in Aarav's ears, "Triston, are you listening to me?"

"Huh!" Aarav looked at Anna, perplexed, and apologized, "Sorry, I was just thinking about something else," as he arose from his stupor.

"Are you still hurt somewhere?" she asked.

"Well, after taking the fire spell directly to my stomach, it still hurts, but it's tolerable," he assured.

"Oh!" "I'm glad you're not severely injured, but let's meet with father anyway so he can give you a quick check," she said with a bewildered face.

'He's acting differently. He hasn't complained since I saw him after such a long time. He is extremely quiet even after taking such a powerful spell from Austen,' Anna pondered. 'What happened to our little crybaby?' As she walked through town, she reflected.

"Aren't you supposed to be working in the border town?" Aarav asked.

"I only came here to inform His Majesty of something."

"Anything serious?" He asked again

"There's nothing I can handle," she admitted. "Wait! Is our little Triston concerned about me? "In a playful tone, she said.

"Don't flatter yourself!" Aarav said with a blushed face.

"So you did miss me." They kept walking, Anna continued teasing him.

As they were walking, they reached a market of Capital. The market is situated in a large open square, surrounded by ornate buildings made from stone and timber. The stalls are arranged in neat rows, each offering a unique selection of goods and services. The air is filled with the sound of merchants hawking their wares, the clanging of metal, and the buzz of conversations between customers.

As visitors wander through the market, they are greeted by a sensory overload of sights and smells. The colorful stalls are adorned with fabrics, jewelry, pottery, and other trinkets from across the kingdom. The air is rich with the scent of exotic spices, freshly baked bread and roasting meats from the food vendors.

But among all that fascinating view, Aarav couldn't help but notice the admiring glances that Anna received from people in the market. It was clear that she is popular in the Capital.

"Anna, do you like being famous?" Aarav asked.

Anna laughed. "Famous? I'm just the daughter of an advisor to the King. I'm not famous."

"But people seem to know who you are and I can see the admiration in their eyes," Aarav pointed out.

"It's because of my father's position in the palace, and you know, there's a fine line between admiration and jealousy. So, I don't think about it anymore, because if you're talented and have a bright future, powerful people will try to acquire you like a commodity." Anna explained. "But I don't really care about that. What's important to me is protecting the people of this kingdom and fighting against the demons. That's what drives me."

Aarav nodded, impressed by Anna's determination and selflessness. but what got his attention most was the fighting Demons.

'Hey, are you still there?' In his head, Aarav asked.

[Yes, I'm here.]

'Is there demons in this world?' 'Can you tell me about this world'

[Didn't you hear people calling you Half-demon?]

'I thought, they were just cursing me' 'So, Am I a demon?'

[One step at a time! don't bombard me with so many questions.]

[The fantasy world of Asteria is a place of incredible magic and wonder, where mana flows through everything and everyone. The world is divided into two halves, the northern region ruled by the Histon Kingdom, and the southern region ruled by the Livian Empire. These two kingdoms are at odds with each other, but they have never declared war on each other, fearing the wrath of powerful spiritual beings such as Elves and Witches.]

"Oh! Elves, witches, and demons. Tell me more about these species," Aarav requested.

[The Elves are beings of immense power, with a natural affinity for the elements of Water, Wind, and Earth. They are generally long-lived or immortal beings with magical abilities, which they use to protect and nurture the natural world. They are revered by many as protectors of nature and are respected and admired throughout the world.

In contrast to the Elves, the Witches are feared and reviled by many. They use dark magic and make pacts with an evil force that grants them supernatural powers. Their magic is based on weaving enchantments around a cauldron, and they also make life pacts with special humans as slaves to increase their power. While many believe that Witches are evil, in reality, they are simple women who follow their religion and have a natural affinity with the dark element as they worship Satan.

The world of Asteria is also threatened by Demons, an evil species known as Satan's mortal minions. They are experts in the Dark elements, and their strength is terrifying. The Demon Lord is their sovereign, and they are led by Seven Demon Generals, each with their own powers and abilities.

Despite the fear and division that exists in Asteria, there is also a sense of wonder and awe at the incredible power that magically brings. Mana flows through everything and everyone, granting them incredible abilities and potential. It is a world of adventure, danger, and magic, where anything is possible, and anything can happen.]

Half an hour passed as they talked more about Asteria.

They entered Walter Grigg's (Anna's father's) chamber.
