To the outside world, no one would have ever suspected that the girl standing in front of Alpha Jeremiah and his wife was anything but normal. Lily took careful steps forward as she rode down the flight of stairs. her eyes were already fixed on Gerald and Michael who awaited her entrance at the bottom of the stairs. they smiled reassuringly at her hoping that she would take the hint and remember the lines that they had been rehearsing the entire night. Now the mission is laid on her shoulders. if she made any mistakes right now or blew her cover carelessly, then it will become the end of them.
'' Finally, I get to meet the so-called bomb.'' The alpha's wife spoke as she took a step forward and stood before Lily in a majestic pose. The seventeen-year-old looked at Luna like she had no respect for her.
'' are you not going to bow to your queen?'' Luna Myra asks in an irritated tone. Really, only looked towards Michael and Gerald, waiting for their approval. Lily however did not even acknowledge her statement. she actually does not think the Queen had not spoken to her and neither has she said anything. The way in which really looked at Luna Mira clearly showed the luna that she was not up for chitchat or good intentions. with her instincts, Mira knew that something was wrong immediately.
''You said she was trained.'' alpha Jeremiah spoke as he took a step forward. he looked at lily from head to toe, not at all pleased with what he was seeing.
'' She is, We have trained her to only take our orders.'' Michael speaks with a proud dangerous tone. Alpha Jeremiah understood the code behind his words. that Michael had trained her to take their orders. that meant that I'm for Jeremiah's order will not matter to the lady unless Michael had given the go-ahead.
'' And what is that supposed to mean? this is a sensitive mission and we have kept her in secret for the past 13 years, do you really think I give a f*** about whose orders she takes if they are not mine? I have financed this mission all these years to make sure that when I come to collect my end of the bargain, it will be perfect. ''
'' it is funny how simple it is to get the Alpha and his wife outside their castle with just the click of a finger. do you really think that it will take her the whole 17 years to train a person? you have been fooled, Jeremiah.'' Now explain to me, Michael, Why does she look like that?'' alpha Jeremiah screams.
'' like what?'' Michael only asks in a humble oblivious stone.
'' LIKE A FUCKING RETARD!!! She doesn't even look like Much. Have you ever seen her ancestors? her bloodline? Do you know what she is capable of if put in the right hands? I was confident that you were the right people for this job, it would appear to me that I was wrong.'' alpha Jeremiah says, anger brewing inside him as he takes another look at Lily.
''You, come And bow before your alpha.'' He speaks in a tone of Pride towards lily.
''You are no alpha.'' Lily stays with finality. The guards soon begin to circle around their Alpha ready and awaiting his commands in case they need to kill the girl and the men.
'' What did you just say to me?'' alpha Jeremiah asks her.
''You heard me, part of my abilities is that I am able to distinguish between good and bad people, and you are Nothing but a coward hiding behind the luxury and power that that throne offers you,'' Lily says, taking more steps forward as you finally step at the bottom of the stairs.
''That is not the character of a true warrior. your bloodline did not behave like barbarians and neither did they lash out such meaningless words. you are not who you claim you are.''
'' It would appear to me like I would throw that question back at you. The bloodline of a true Alpha does not stand and send other people to battle, you Stand and fight with your people. What have you done instead? you have overthrown a government, killed its previous Alpha, and taken the throne to yourself. you are nothing but a selfish imbecile.'' The words seem to shock alpha Jeremiah more than he ever has. He never expected anyone who would read him like an open book, especially in such a negative way. Over the past years, Alpha Jeremiah had intermediaries and steers who came to read about his future and proclaim the direction of his life. all the readings were positive and he was certain that his Empire was going to last a lifetime. He hated whenever someone came out short and put him in his place. Alpha Jeremiah had promised to God his secrets with his life. and that didn't mean that he was not willing to take the life of another just to do so.
