"Did you forget something?" "I came for you yesterday, but I didn't anticipate you to slip out by seeing me," Kaveri explained.
"Yeah, yeah, I remember now; I wasn't expecting you," I explained.
"Who was it? You were acting differently than usual; is there something bothering you?" "You may tell me you're aware of that," she said.
"I'll explain everything to you," I said, "but you have to keep it a secret."
"OK, tell me right now that you're going to feel better," she said.
"Someone took a picture of Pritam and me kissing on a double date; now they had my number and were demanding money," I stated.
"Oh my goodness, when did this happen?" she exclaimed.
"It's been since yesterday morning," I explained.
"Do you think I'm dead, poor girl?" "This is when friends come in handy," she explained.

"All right, let me demonstrate my investigative skills; do you have the photo he sent?" she inquired.
"I do have it." I showed Kaveri the image.
She smiled when she saw the photo.
"Romantic, huh?" she chuckled.
"Stop it, Kavs," I urged, "just solve this."
"All right, now you have to answer every question I asked you, understand?" she said.
"Yes," I replied, "Miss Detective."
"How many kisses have you had at that moment?" she inquired.
I said, "We kissed twice."
"Is this the picture's first or second kiss?" she inquired.

"Did anyone witness you both kissing?" she inquired.

I paused for a beat before realizing what I was saying.

"What information, did we get him correctly?" I inquired.
"There's a chance, but what if it was a customer?" she speculated.

"Think about it: if it were a customer, he'd have both of your numbers; I don't think Pritam is aware of this," she explained.
"Pritam didn't seem to know about this, otherwise he would have told me already," I explained.
"Who footed the bill?" she inquired.
"I paid the bill," I said.
"Did he ask for your phone number after you paid the bill?" she inquired.
"How did you know he asked for my phone number?" I said.
"In branded restaurants and markets, they will ask for your telephone number to advertise them and give you coupons," she explained.

I looked like I was about to die after hearing those comments from the waiter.
I fainted by looking into pritam's eyes.
Later I was told that pritam rushed and beat him to death and destroyed his mobile.
When I awoke, I noticed an ambulance and a police car.
The waiter was loaded into an ambulance, and Pritam was arrested.
I couldn't figure out whether I should be glad or sad.
