She found his bedroom was dark. She disconnected the call while wiping the tears that rolled down her cheeks.
" Sorry… It is for our own good…" she thought to herself and turned away from the window. She was feeling tired. She thought about washing her face and changing her dress. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. Her face was pale. She turned away from the mirror and splashed water on her face. She sighed heavily. She knew she had to go. She looked at her reflection. She didn't look any better. She thought the cold water would help her feel better. She twisted the knob and stood under the shower. She felt the cold water on her body and she closed her eyes. She felt the tears run down her face. She didn't know if she was crying because of the cold water, the situation, or both. She turned off the shower and wrapped the towel around her body. Then she stepped out of the bathroom only in her towel.
