Jing Xupei keeps on staring at Anna Tang eating with interest. When suddenly Liang Keixin brought up the topic, he have forgotten years ago.
"Oh right. How's your unsettled business anyway? Any progress?"
Jing Xupei frowned and then realization kick in. "Oh that... Still finding some clue. It's hard to find someone who you despise and was separated many years back."
He murmured. This made Anna Tang to stop eating and Liang Keixin to force a laugh.
"It seems like you rooted her that much. I wonder what she'd done." Anna Tang asked, tapping the chopsticks on her lips slightly.
Jing Xupei ignored the comment and started eating. [If I just hadn't made the promise bond with Jing Liwei... I would rather choose on giving up on finding that woman...]
He thought and secretly clenched his fist hard.

"Very well... Someone! Bring me a two set of knife and bowl." Jing Liwei ordered coyly.
When the item was delivered, he dismissed the servants. He took the knife and cut his wrist. He instructed Jing Xupei to do the same thing.
After that, Jing Xupei let their blood mix up. "Drink it."
Jing Xupei didn't hesitate and took a sip. When he put down the bowl, a viper tattoo appeared on his nape when he touch it. "That is a promising tattoo. If you break the promise we made... It'll give you pain. Don't worry, humans can't unsee it."

Wei Shuliu, Wei Shuye's grandfather sighed when looking at his son and daughter in law's tombstone.
"You both don't need to worry. Shuye's growing more independent day by day. I guess he have a mate by now."
He laugh sadly. Wei Shuye's parents died in the battle thousand years ago. The battle with the Witch God to save his mother's hometown.

Wei Shuliu keep his face happy but it disappeared the moment it appears.

So when the battle came hundred years ago, he wanted to join. Thank god, Wei Shuliu's be able to stop him.

Wei Shuye tap his finger and Zhong Wei immediately appeared in front of him bowing.
"What hospital did you notify about AB Blood?" Wei Shuye asked hiding his curiosity.
Zhong Wei stood up right and answered. "Ah... It was A Hospital, My Lord." Wei Shuye nodded and took a sip of Liang Keixin's blood. Yesterday, Liang Keixin left it behind as her token of honesty.
She even suggested on coming to her when he needed blood. Wei Shuye gave him a sword ring, he secretly took from her and said. "Can you track a woman with this?"
Zhong Wei look at it and was shock. Wei Shuye notice it and asked.
"What's wrong?"
"My lord... Where did you perhaps find this?" Zhong Wei asked still in shock.
"Why?"
Zhong Wei shook his head but still answered. "I just... I saw this before." Hundred years ago, Zhong Wei was in the battle, demon goddess has created.
It was no doubt the ring was familiar to him.
"Then excuse me."
Zhong Wei left with a doubt still on his mind. [Would I inform Old Lord about this?]
Wei Shuye look blankly at the sky and sigh. "Until now, there's still no news of the demon goddess. Ah~ If they should've just let me participate in that battle. Maybe I can at least have some of her belongings."

Liang Keixin, 26 years of age and a top and youngest surgeon in A Hospital. Father and Mother are unknown.
After reading it, Wei Shuye close it down and asked. "Any news about the demon goddess?"

"Oh right? Is there something you has the higher rank than the demon goddess?" Wei Shuye asked out of nowhere.
Zhong Wei bowed. "It is you my lord."
"No! I meant a female." Zhong Wei laugh nervously before scratching his nape. "Um... There is... However... Old Lord instructed me on not telling you, my lord."
Wei Shuye narrowed his eyes to him. "Alright. You may dismiss."
"Now I'm curious who it is." He murmured with a devilish smirk plastered on his perfect face making him more dangerous.
The image of Liang Keixin's face come to his mind with a knife pointed at her neck. His smirk immediately turned into a scowl. He dashed out of his office and disappeared.
Jinbao St 88: 25 minutes earlier
They were enjoying chatting and laughing when suddenly, Liang Keixin's phone rang.
She answered it with a smile as she speak. "This Dr. Liang speaking." When she heard the other line speaking, her smile gradually face turning it into a frown. "Okay. I'll be there in 20 minutes."
"Guys... I have to go."
Liang Keixin said with worried plastered on her face as she took her bag and keys.
A Hospital
She run towards the emergency room and asked a bunch of nurses waiting for her. "What's the matter?"
"Dr. Liang~ Heaven to meet you."
A familiar yet annoying voice sounded. When she turn around, a knife immediately pointed at her neck.
With a calm face she said. "Mr. Peng."
Peng Guyou, a man on his forties and the boss of Peng Company.
Peng Company, a illegal company that sells drugs. It was not that well known, but even polices are scared of them.
Peng Guyou was once a patient of Liang Keixin. Liang Keixin cared about his life and despite that he is a drug lord, she ignored it. But this caught Peng Guyou's interest to her.
Although Liang Keixin turn him down politely. She expect him to not bother him but here it is. "You're just a doctor, that I can end it easily. How dare you turn me down?!"
"Oh... Mr. Peng should be calm. You might yet again collapse of heart attack."
Liang Keixin said with a smirk.
"You..." Liang Keixin's smirk froze when she heard a voice on her mind. [Don't speak a word. And don't offend him. Try buying some time.]
[Who're you?] She asked back. [Guess who?] Came a familiar teasing masculine voice. The image of the guy from yesterday appeared on her mind. [You... Vampire Guy? What do you want?]
"Hey, I'm talking to you. I'll slit your throat. Don't test me." Peng Guyou shouted.
[Just... Buy some time. I'm on my way.]
Peng Guyou was about to shout again by seeing Liang Keixin's lost face, when Pei Shu came forward.
"Mr. Peng. I heard commotion. Let us settle this nicely." Pei Shu said politely while looking at Liang Keixin warningly. "Heh! You expect me to follow your orders? I'm telling you..."
Liang Keixin snake her arm around Peng Guyou's left arm and twisted it.
"Keixin!" Pei Shu said warningly.
Liang Keixin turned around and her eyes become golden. Pei Shu's also turned violet and all of the people around them froze like a statue.
"How many times do I have to say this... Control your temper." Liang Keixin went back to reality and look at him apologetically.
"I... I'm sorry... I..." She pursed her lips and look at the ground like a child being scolded.
Pei Shu sighed defeated. "Alright. I'll rewind the time, keep your cool." Liang Keixin nodded in response. With a click of his finger, time were back when Liang Keixin was being scolded.
At the same time, Wei Shuye came behind them running. He then stop and look at scene. He immediately came forward and asked coldly.
"What's going on?"
Peng Guyou turn around and yelled. "Mind your own business! Do you know who am I?"
Noticing the room getting heated, Pei Shu dismissed the nurses. Wei Shuye smirk dangerously and turn his eyes into red.
"I don't. And won't need to." Wei Shuye scowled and grip Peng Guyou's neck. He squeeze it tightly but stop when Liang Keixin patted his shoulder. "Stop."
Wei Shuye loosened his grip but didn't let go. Peng Guyou had a fear on his eyes. As the drug lord, he didn't fear anyone. But this intimidating aura scared the hell out of him. "M- Mo... Monster!"
Wei Shuye turned to him and shouted. "Shut up!"
With that, he throw him out of the ground.
Peng Guyou landed directly at the floor hitting his head hard. "Oh. That was smooth." Pei Shu whistled.
However, Wei Shuye ignored him and took Liang Keixin's wrist dragging her out with him. Pei Shu look at their back blankly. "That man's power's more dangerous than the previous Viper Lord."
Pei Shu was the lord of demon goddesses. He was known as the lord of beauty before it was stripped of when Wei Shuye's born. "By the way..." He touch both of his cheeks and lowly said.
"Why is he more handsome than me?"
