"Wait up. I'm coming." Anna Tang said and hung up the phone. Minutes later, Anna Tang came in before shivering too.
She look up at the air conditioner and yelled. "What the hell? No wonder you were shivering through the phone. Why couldn't you?"
Anna Tang said sarcastically with mixed of irritation. She walk towards the remote and lowered the temperature.
She went to check his forehead using her hand and frowned. Anna Tang look around and went to his bathroom.
She was about to check his cupboard, but the water filled tub caught her eyes. Walking around, she put her fingers to the water and gritted her teeth.
"No wonder you catch a cold! Why did bath in a cold water, in such a rainy days? Are you nuts?"
Anna Tang asked angrily, when she went back to his bed.
Jing Xupei lowered his head, looking like a child being scolded greatly by its parents and apologized. "Sorry. I just..." He pause by fiddling his fingers together.
"I just saw that on internet. They said you will become 'cold' when you do it. Like you." Anna Tang bit her inside cheeks to prevent herself from laughing. "You mean cold blooded? I was like this since child." She said coldly.
Jing Xupei shivered again, which made Anna Tang irritated. [How come you're known as the king of film? When you are that stupid?]
Anna Tang rub her eyebrow, irritated. "Do you wanna go for a check up? Your brain seems to not working." Anna Tang said grinding her teeth together.
Lowering his head guiltily, he didn't speak.
Anna Tang notice it too and her face soften. "Well... Sorry."
She said in a low voice but Jing Xupei still heard. Jing Xupei shivered again and asked. "Its cold..."
Anna Tang kill the air con and look at Jing Xupei. "Feel better?"Jing Xupei shook his head and continue on shivering. "What to do?" Anna Tang asked herself in a whisper.
She raised her wrist and look at her watch, sighing. She fished out her phone and went to search. 'How to decreased a cold?'
When she saw what the first one pop out, her eyes widen in shock.
She cleared her throat out of embarrassment and swallowed. "Um... You have to rest. I'll bring you more blanket." Anna Tang said hurriedly and left the room.
When she came back, Jing Xupei's already asleep. She double his blanket and went to change the aircon turning it to heater. After finishing, she went to his kitchen, to cook some porridge.
Jing Xupei slowly open his eyes and sat up straight. He stretched his arm and sighed.
[I already acted as what the internet says. How come she didn't fall for any of that?] He asked absentmindedly.
When he heard the door clicked, he acted weak as trying to get up himself. "Who told who for you to get up?" Anna Tang immediately went to support him while scolding.
Jing Xupei coughed loudly and flinched painfully. Anna Tang helped him up and took the warm towel, putting it at his forehead.
"Now rest."
Jing Xupei obediently close his eyes as Anna Tang instructed.
A Hospital
Liang Keixin rush towards the emergency room to check the one who's injured, only to see her patient from before. Tang Zhu.
Tang Zhu look at her and smile. "Doctor Liang. Its been a while." He said politely with his american accent in mandarin.
Liang Keixin frowned confusedly before it turned to a surprise.
"Mr Tang. What are you doing here?"
Tang Zhu nodded his head before answering. "I just wanted to say thank you for saving my life. If it weren't for you, I would've died."
Liang Keixin gave him warn smile shaking her head. "No big deal. Saving patients is the least I can do."
Tang Zhu nodded and was about to speak again, when a furious Wei Shuye came forward. He wrap his arm around Liang Keixin and asked. "Who is he?" He asked calmly yet boiling inside.
Liang Keixin was surprise and was about to take his arm off, when Wei Shuye's voice sounded on her head.
[Don't move.]
Liang Keixin's lips twitched, but she did as he instructed.
Tang Zhu look at them confused and Wei Shuye beat him into it. "Wei Shuye. Keixin's boyfriend." Tang Zhu smile at him and nodded, while Liang Keixin was shock.
The nurses and doctors who passed by heard it and pause to look at him. They all look at Liang Keixin with envy, before disappearing. "How come Doctor Liang's so lucky? Her boyfriend's so handsome."
A doctor sounded in an envy. "Hah. Doctor Liang is the dean's niece. Who don't want to take a chance and seize her? Bet he is just a toy boy."
Another voice sounded, Wei Shuye was about to speak, when a young doctor said.
"If doctors like you likes to gossips. I advice you to be a reporter instead. Jealous people don't belong here."
The two doctors were all startled and ran away immediately in fear. The young man smiled at them and left, leaving them their frozen in place. Wei Shuye on the other hand was shock completely.
The image of the guy who was with the armored lady appeared on his mind.
He released his arm that was wrapped around Liang Keixin's waist and ran beside him.
As he ran, he notice that the guy disappeared. [Dammit!] He cursed and messed his hair, in desperation. [Why did he look so much like him, when he has no powerful aura surrounding him?]
Liang Keixin look at his back and frowned.
[Did they know each other?] Liang Keixin, as the youngest doctor in A Hospital. She didn't know nor did she encountered with him before.
"Did I just ruin something?" Tang Zhu scratched his nape and awkwardly asked.
Liang Keixin turned to him and chuckled. "No, not at all." Tang Zhu laughed in relief. "By the way, Doctor Liang. I'm looking for someone here and still unfamiliar here in B City. Can I call you sometime for a tour?"
"My girlfriend is busy dealing with patients. But not me. I can be and always be free to be your guide."
Wei Shuye said through gritted teeth from behind. Liang Keixin felt shivers from her spine so she kept quite and turned to him, confusedly.
Wei Shuye just raise his eyebrow at her and gave her a small smile before turning to look at Tang Zhu expressionlessly.
Tang Zhu bit his bottom lip before agreeing.
"Then, since Doctor Liang's busy. I should get going."
Wei Shuye nodded and waved together with Liang Keixin. [Better not come back.] Liang Keixin scoffed. "I heard you." This time its, Wei Shuye's turned to scoff. 'I shouldn't have save that guy back then.'
He whispered to himself in a low voice. 'But.' He recalled how he heard Liang Keixin's painful voice and sighed. "Hearing it gives me heartache."
This time Liang Keixin heard it. "What?" Wei Shuye shook his head and turned to leave. "I gotta go. See ya!" He said while waving at Liang Keixin with his back facing her.
Pei Shu looked at both of them and sighed.
[What will both of you do when you both found out each other's true identity?] He thought to himself as if talking to them too.
