Not once in her life, did she feel important, let alone loved, by her own family. Coming from a family of eight siblings, there wasn't enough love to go around. And that being the case, she became the outcast in the family; a black-sheep of sorts. When you're the kid who nobody likes: kindness is a currency, friendship doesn't mean shit, she always thought, not to mention family in this case, kills and lies.
"Crystal! You idiotic child!" They always told her, "No one needs you!" Parents and sisters altogether.
Being fourth meant nothing, anyone could've been fourth but, why the discrimination? Was something wrong with her? Was her tiny body the problem? Was the number four, a taboo or something? So many questions but no answer sufficed.
