Chapter 2 - Is This Even Allowed?

'I better go help those saps. Don't want any of them to die. Pretty sure that's not a good way to earn brownie points with these folks.'

Anniceta tapped her foot on the ground and soared into the air, turning into a diamond streak across the skies of the 33rd District.

While flying, she used these few moments to quickly browse her skills, finally choosing one not because of the effect or power, but simply based on which one sounded the coolest.

Notwithstanding the fact that she was a Peak Great Sage, but her simply overpowered body and soul allowed her to fly 190km in an instant.

Stopping behind the Angels, Anniceta took few seconds to scan the battlefield.

Sweeping her gaze across the entire area, she used the HUD on her helmet to scan the entire battlefield, giving her a pretty good idea in regard to the predicament the Angels were in.

There was a grand total of 1.5 million Silver and Gold rank Abyssal Soldiers, and of course, the Peak Platinum rank Abyssal Titan. Roughly 400,000 Abyssal Soldiers have been killed already, though the Angels haven't had is easy either.

3, Low Platinum rank Angels were being beaten silly by the Abyssal Titan, who was laughing as he beat back the Platinum rank Angels.

There were exactly 30,000 Middle Gold rank Angels fending off the seemingly endless Abyssal Soldiers.

Every single one of the Angels were covered in injuries, with quite a few even on death's door.

Broken armor and weapons littered the ground, some Angels had to use their fists, as their weapons were completely broken.

Sighing, Anniceta used Quantum Tunneling to forcefully move the Angels behind her, following up with Holy Regeneration and Absolute Restoration, which completely healed all of their past and current injuries, repaired their armor, and fixed their weapons.

Their weapons then flew towards their owners, hovering in front of their bodies.

Looking at the figure in front of them, the oldest of the Platinum rank Angels, a middle-aged, dignified looking Angel, immediately revealed a shocked expression, which then turned to one of nigh worship.

"Ten wings! That Senior has 10 wings!"

The middle-aged Angel's exclamation startled the other two Angels.

"Brother Brutus, why are you so worked up over the lass that has 10 wings?"

Thap!

Brutus quickly and sharply slapped the younger male Platinum rank Angel across the face, though not hard enough to draw blood or cause damage.

"F*ck! Is your head a watermelon?! Unless you want an early grave, never refer to an Angelic being that has 10 wings as a mere lad or lass! 10 wings mean that being is a genuine Archangel! An Archangel is at least a Low Great Sage rank existence! Need I tell you more?!"

Psssst!

The two Platinum rank Angels sucked in a cold breath of air through their teeth, while the Angel who spoke felt cold sweat break out across his back and forehead.

Great Sage! A real Great Sage rank being!

Being Platinum rank Angels, they each were personally congratulated and rewarded by the Holy Land's ruler, a Middle Saint rank, 4-Winged Angel, named Ardisius, and at that time, the sense of bloodline suppression wasn't nearly as bad in Ardisius' presence as it was right now!

Anniceta simply ignored the various discussions and focused on the enemies in front of her.

The Abyssal Titan didn't take Anniceta seriously at first, as to him, she was just another soon-to-be dead Angel.

However, he quickly changed his thoughts about her when she used her skills, his face turning even more grim once he heard Brutus calling Anniceta an Archangel.

This caused a feeling of deep unease to bubble up to the surface of his very core.

Gripping his war hammer and axe, the Abyssal Titan asked in a solemn tone, "Just who are you?"

Anniceta merely smirked and called out the name of her skill.

"Arbiter's Judgement!"

A positively massive, golden array formed under the feet of the Abyssal Soldiers and Titan.

The glow the array emitted grew brighter and brighter, until eventually...

Ksssshhhhh!

The array shattered with the sound of breaking glass!

Before the Abyssal Titan could mock Anniceta, the feeling of imminent death nearly suffocated him.

BOOM!

A giant pillar of gold light crashed into the Abyssal Soldiers and Titan, killing them before they could even regret coming to the Transmigration World, with their bodies disintegrated into nothing, and souls erased.

Surprisingly, there was no blast zone or destroyed land, other than what was already damaged.

The Angels present looked on in shock, each of them finding it hard to believe that the seemingly unstoppable force of Abyssal troops was wiped out by a single skill!

Even more, the skill they saw Anniceta use made them subconsciously want to prostrate towards her!

Brutus, the middle-aged Angel, softly exclaimed, "That was Arbiter's Judgement! A skill only known by Peak Great Sage rank Archangels and higher! Tobias, Luna, did you both catch at least a glimpse? I shouldn't need to tell you how valuable a chance like this is."

"A glimpse of what? My skill?"

Brutus, Tobias, and Luna all whipped around, and saw Anniceta floating in the air all but 2 meters away from the trio, the unanimous thought among them being, 'How the hell did she get behind us without us noticing?!'

Anniceta smirked under her helmet and motioned for them to follow her, saying, "Come along, we have to meet up with Primrose. Tell your troops to try and not puke."

Being the kind soul she is, not even a second had passed when she used her Quantum Tunneling skill, and brought all of the Angels back to the city where the other non-combat orientated Angels were residing.

Sure enough, several of the Angels happened to puke once they were "on solid ground again", which gave Anniceta quite the chuckle.

Primrose ran over and was the first to greet them.

"Elder Brother Brutus, is everyone alright? How many Healing Crystals will we need?"

Brutus ruffled Primrose's hair a bit, much to her displeasure, and gave her a warm smile.

"No Healing Crystals are needed, and yes, everyone is alright, though many of us would've died had it not been for our savior. Speaking of which, we never got to exchange names."

Brutus drew his sword, as did the other two Platinum rank Angels, holding their swords in a vertical position at chest height, their wings flared out, and deeply bowed.

"Dear Savior, my name is Brutus Maximus. To my right is Tobias Flint, my right-hand Angel, and to my left is, Luna Braveheart, a brand-new addition to our 33rd Expedition Regiment."

Brutus then patted Primrose on the shoulder and ruffled her hair again, causing Primrose to slightly puff out her cheeks and fix her hair.

"I see you've already met this little rascal. Her name is Primrose Maximus, my great-granddaughter! She's with us for one reason only, and that's her speed and agility. She can outrun all of us here, both on foot, and flying!"

A small smile adorned Brutus' face, and a gentle look was contained in his eyes.

"Might I ask for your name, Savior?"

Nodding her head, Anniceta tapped the side of her helmet twice.

TSSS!

Her helmet vented some pressure and quickly retracted into the body of her armor, revealing her otherworldly beauty.

A soft smile adorned her face as she gazed at the 4 Angels in front of her.

"My name is Anniceta Cromwell, pleasure to meet you."

While all 4 of the Angels were staring at her in awe, she detected a brief fluctuation of Abyssal Energy coming from a nearby building, and couldn't help but frown.

'Seems like we have some rats crawling around.'

"Brutus, Tobias, Luna, surround Primrose and come with me. We have some rats to kill."

Anniceta's words instantly put them on edge.

Deploying her helmet again, the 4 Angels followed Anniceta, and were quite surprised when they saw where Anniceta led them.

Without warning, Anniceta rushed over and shielded the 4 Angels with her body and wings, as a barrage of energy blasts hit her expanded wings, causing no damage whatsoever.

Whirling around faster than anyone could see, Anniceta seemed to disappear.

Shing!

"AGHH!"

"Momma!"

After those two cries sounded out, Anniceta, who was covered in blue-greenish blood, tried to open the front door, only to have it fall completely off it's hinges.

Whump!

Not knowing what to say, she just blurted the first thing that came to mind.

"Don't worry, I can fix the door."

The 4 Angels, especially Primrose, looked terrified.

Brutus stepped forward, and to everyone's surprise, pointed his sword at Anniceta and scowled.

"Senior Cromwell, stay very still, don't move a muscle."

Anniceta chuckled, and before anyone could see her move, she already held two black and purple colored creatures that looked like the fusion of a tape worm, and a lamprey.

"Skree! Skree!"

Crunch!

Anniceta crushed the heads and burned the bodies of the weird worms, clapping her hands off immediately after.

"I appreciate the kind thought Brutus, but even if they managed to bite my armor, it wouldn't have done anything. Anyways, I'm a bit hungry, do you think the person who lives in this house will mind if I try to find something to cook?"

Primrose swallowed some saliva, nervously stuttering out, "I-I don't mind if you use my house, though we need to go to the temporary Mess Hall to eat. We only have vegetables, fruits, nuts, greens, and seasonings though. The 24 Angels who were carrying the meat rations were the first among the 340 Angels from our group to have.. been..."

Anniceta felt an indescribable emotion rise up within her, and although she wasn't sure why, she had the sudden urge to hug Primrose and comfort her.

Shaking her head, Primrose quelled the negative thoughts in her head.

"Despite all of that, if it hadn't been for you, Senior Cromwell, all of us would've perished. On behalf of everyone here, I thank you."

Anniceta smiled, until she thought of something.

Pulling out 5 blank Skill Cards, she quickly gave the system a command to test her split-second theory.

'System, copy my Arbiter's Judgment skill on two of the cards, and my Archangel's Blessing skill onto the other 3.'

"Ding Dong! Copying successful!"

The moment the System's voice ended, the 5 cards shone with a brilliant sparkling light, the Arbiter's Judgment cards being made of pure obsidian, ornate gold patterns etched onto them, while the Archangel's Blessing cards were a white-gold color.

They were adorned with small gems and patterns drawn with what appeared to be liquid fire.

Inwardly cheering, Anniceta gave Brutus, Tobias, and Luna each an Archangel's Blessing card, and both of the Arbiter's Judgement cards to Primrose.

Seeing their confusion, Anniceta patiently explained to them what skills she imbued into them were.

"Brutus, Tobias, Luna, your skill cards contain my Archangel's Blessing skill. It's a Great Sage grade skill, and what it does is pretty simple.

It gives you a 5,000% boost to your damage output, soul strength, vitality, and defense, as well as giving you the ability to completely regenerate any and all body parts, so long as your soul is intact.

The cooldown is 1 year, though for each Abyssal and/or evil existence you kill, the cooldown is reduced by 24 hours. Perfect for front line fighters like yourselves."

The 3 of them stared at the skill cards they were given in a daze, not quite understanding what they did to deserve such a skill.

It should be known that entire factions would wage wars for a single Sage grade skill, let alone a Great Sage grade skill!

Anniceta then gave the two Arbiter's Judgement cards to Primrose, who hesitantly took them with shaky hands.

"Primrose, those two cards contain my Arbiter's Judgment skill. One of the cards will be for you, and the other will be for Ardisius. I suggest you all learn the skills I gave you right now.

When the time comes, I'll accompany you 4 to help drop off the skill card."

All 4 of the Angels swallowed some saliva and hurriedly held the cards to their foreheads, each of their bodies shining with a brilliant glow, their bodies immediately becoming stronger just from learning the skills.

Brutus, Tobias, and Luna all rose to Peak Platinum rank, while Primrose's rank skyrocketed from Low Silver, all the way to Peak Gold.

"Is this even allowed? Is a weak Angel like me really allowed to jump from Low Silver to Peak Gold in an instant?"

Primrose's questions gave Anniceta a small chuckle, who softly patted Primrose on the head.

"Primrose, you're not weak. You could run and fly faster than Low Platinum rank Angels when you were Low Silver rank, which by all means should be impossible. Right now, I daresay you could probably rival a Peak Diamond-Low Legendary rank being.

Besides that, you also have potential that I admire. It's perfectly possible for you to reach the Saint rank within 30 years at this rate, though that's far too slow for my taste, so I'll try to hunt down some stuff on other worlds for you in hopes you reach the Saint rank."

Brutus caught onto Anniceta's words pretty quick, hesitantly asking, "Senior Cromwell, are you by chance a Transmigrator?"

Nodding her head, Anniceta was about to try and explain when a dazzling, multi-color hued summoning circle appeared directly in front of Anniceta, the circle itself emitting a soothing warmth.

Looking at the summoning circle, Anniceta had a gleam in her eyes.

Stepping inside, she looked up at the 4 stunned Angels and waved, and said some parting words that made them chuckle.

"I better not hear about any of you dying before I get back. Otherwise I'll beat you up."
