There has been suspicious behaviour over the last couple of weeks in the territory.
I was on my normal run this morning when I noticed the footprints and the markings in the wood again. This time, I follow them and they seem to be identifying some spots.
I shift to my human form and trail the markings, noting the angles and the sport.
They are arrow markings.
My senses are hyper aware and I am on my guard, because this could potentially be a trap for me.
I move silently, my steps light and keen senses looking out for any movement or even the tiniest sound I hear.
Who is scouting Laurentia; and why?
I lose trail of the footprints, but I still watch out for more signs.
There are none.
Something is up. If a human was walking, they would lead me somewhere, nit just fade the footprints into thin air. I look up at the trees and there is nothing either.
