I look at Eve dance around the bonfire, feeling her radiance and happiness even from across where I am seated.
"How does it feel?" Justus seats next to me. Doug and Dawn join us too.
I reflect on it "it somehow feel different, but not as much."
"Bro, what does that even mean?" Doug asks
"I take a pause, swinging in my drink. "It means I have now to think and worry about. A lot to take on"

"Yes. It does. I feel more grounded on that"
"But you have her, she will literally take down the world for you" Dawn refers to eve who is now dancing with Nicole.
I nod and I am grateful for her. It's like she feels my eyes on her, because she looks my way and grins at me, blowing me a kiss.
"So do you plan on doing anything? About Victoria" Justus asks, careful with his words.
