Now within the basements of the fortress, Alex retracts his Vipers since there isn't much room for them before heading up a stair case. Up stares Alex sees a long corridor with rooms on either side and so he moves from room to room looking for his target.
As he searches he stumbles upon a living room and kitchen " I guess he works where he lives " Alex commented as he begins to investigate.
As he investigate the room, he notices that everything is covered in dust, almost as if no one has been here recently and seeing nothing else of interest, he moves on to the next room which seems to be a bedroom.
Alex entering the room cannot smell anyone's scent and upon investigating the room, he realises this is a child rooms, a little girls room to be accurate as it full of stuffed animals and the colours pink seems to be everywhere. Picking up a stuffed bear he thinks " so he had a kid huh " as he sits on the dusty bed.
The Ripper seems to be playing with the toy as he say " must have been nice to live like a normal kid " before dropping the bear.
As Alex opens a drawer, he notices just how dusty it is before soon pulling out some panties and smelling it he comments " old, this scent is old as if no one hasn't warned these in a long time ".
Alex having seen and smelled everything leaves to investigates the other rooms and hearing the sound of gunfire from outside, he thinks " when will they give up ".
Alex entering a room notices it is also a bedroom but judging by the size, he quickly realises this is for a couple as he sees massive double bed. Alex staring at the large bed comment " this is easily 4 metres long, what the hell sleeps on a bed this big ". Looking around, Alex finds more dust making him sigh as he says " for a legendary gunsmith he sure is shit at taking care of his own house " before finally finding something of note.
It is a picture showing a man with his wife and daughter. Alex notices that the wife is a bunny-girl with brown fur, light skin and wearing in a yellow dress. The daughter however, looks far to large to be a bunny with a wider built and dressed in a blue dress.
Alex seeing the daughter body Alex thinks to himself " does she have a horn " before turning his attention to the husband. Alex blowing the dust away looks on in shock as he sees that the man is far larger than his family, in fact he easily towers over them all.
Alex sees the man who's dressed in a red shirt with blue pants is very large with a wide body, large hands and rather stubble legs. The man is very muscular with grey armour-like skin and on the mans bald head Alex notices a large horn.
Alex after seeing all these comes to a realization as he comments " so he's a Rhidoxs huh, damn those bastard are tough ". The Rhidoxs are a very large and powerful race famed for their great strength and Alex now knowing what race the gunsmith is, smiles as he thinks " this is gonna be a good fight ".
Alex roaming thought the building can still hear the sound of gunfire from outside and entering a room, he sees it is a vault full of guns from snipers rifles to rocket launchers. Gun, Guns and even more guns, everywhere Alex turns he sees guns both large and small with the centrepiece being a large heavy-duty minigun.
Alex taking a moment to inspect the weapons, noticing all of them bare the same logo which is a twin horned demon. " this looks familiar " Alex thinks before pulling out one of his hand guns and seeing it too bare the logo.
" so I'm gonna to have to kill the man who made my guns huh, funny " he thinks before smelling something burning. Alex following the scent leaves the room and as he walks, the scent grows stronger with Alex being able to make out the scent being fire but with a metallic flavour to it.
Alex soon enters a large room and at the far edge, he sees a large forge full of molten metal and he finally sees the gunsmith. Yes, he is indeed as large as Alex thought he would be, standing at 4.27 metres tall with a noticeably old appearance with grey hair, tired eyes and a large beard. His single horn that all Rhidoxs have is large and cracked and he is dressed in a black smith's attire.
" So someone has finally broken through my defences " the old man says while lifting his head and seeing the Ripper lurking in the dark, he comments in a kind fatherly voice " ah I see, I would except no less from the Ripper himself ".
Alex with one eye brow raised asked " you've heard of me? " with the old gunsmith smiling as he answers " of course, I've traded with big Larry long enough to hear all about his Ripper ".
Alex walking closer to the old gunsmith says " then you know why am here " with the old guns replying " indeed I do, but sadly I can't die yet, not until I get rid of all these guns first " before throwing a grenade at Alex!
Alex seeing the incoming grenade jumps out of the way but as it explodes, he's hit by the shockwave. Alex is thrown back but as he stands up his blasted by the gunsmiths, quadruple barrelled shotgun.
The blast from the shotgun was so powerful that the Ripper was sent flying back in an explosion of blood, landing on the ground hard. The gunsmith seeing the fallen Ripper commented " I thought this would be harder " as he turns to continue his work only to be suddenly blasted in the back!
The gunsmith turns around and is I'm shock as he sees that that the Ripper is standing up with his wounds having magical healed. "A healing factor.. I thought only geckerans could heal that fast " he thinks as he look on in surprise.
The Ripper smiling behind his mask says " I'm full of surprises " before opening fire on the Oldman who reaches for his shotgun, only for Alex to blast it away. The Oldman now unarmed glares at Alex as the battle between the Ripper and the Gunsmith has official began.
