Lizz wakes up and sees that she's in a pool of blood which scared her up. Now standing up, her eyed widen as she sees all the dead bodies around her before turning to see a very wounded, Viper less Alex sitting on some rubble.
Lizz walks over to him trying help but Alex pushes her away saying " it's fine, I heals fast " as he coughs up some blood before then telling her "it's over, she's gone ".
Lizz hearing this is filled with surprises and joy as she thinks " its over... for real... its really over... ".
Alex standing up grunts from the pain as he does some stretches before walking to her. Going on one knee, he grabs her bracelet and destroy it as she asked " why didn't you do that before? " with Alex sighing as he answers " if I destroyed it earlier, an alert would have been sent here, blowing my cover. But now that she's dead, let the alert ring no one worth a damn will see it ".
Alex looking down at this small mer-folk girl tells her " well your free now, I suggest you head eat to the dread lakes, that's where your people are after all and it's safer than staying here ".
Alex then begins to walks away but Lizz runs up to him saying " don't send me away please, take me with you " shocking Alex as she explains " even if you were cold to me, you are still the first person that was nice to be, really nice to me. You didn't use me for sex, you saved me ".
Alex with his head down replies " kid that's just the Stockholm syndrome talking, I abused you and used you for my own goals " but Lizz counters " I knows that but I still wants to stay with you ".
Alex after a " good freaking grief " explains " look kid, the world I exist in is a world of blood and death ,where might makes rights, a world that forces you to face death constantly, you are just too weak to live in my world ".
However Lizz yells back " I've worked on the streets, I've seem fucked up things too " and as she says that the ceiling breaks apart.
Huge rocks start falling around them but Alex doesn't move, he just stand there looking up with no fear in his eyes Lizz however, runs away sacred for her life. Alex then grabs her, holding her close to him while from his back his Vipers erupt and using them, he smash the rocks with any that does go through being block's by his body.
The falling rubble soon stop as light enters the hollow room and Lizz backing away from Alex sees that the entire room is covered in rocks. She then releasing what happen as she thinks to herself " if I did run and if he didn't grab me, I would have been.. crushed " as she then looks up at Alex.
Alex and his vipers are looking down at her, nine heads, nine sets of almost sad lonely eyes looking at this small girl as he says " see you are too weak to live in my world, head east and live your life " before picking her up and carrying her as with his vipers Alex climbs to the surface.
After setting her down Alex points eastwards saying " start walking that way and avoid any one as big or bigger than me " before he then begins to walk away but Lizz stops him by yells " at least tell me your name! ".
Alex pause for a monument before saying " my name is Alex and I am the Ripper " and with that being said, he walks away, disappearing into the shadows.
Lizz waving goodbye thinks to herself " thank you Alex the Ripper and I promise you, I'll become stronger so I can join you in your dark world " before walking away towards the light of dawn from the east .
Alex finally reaching his car Alex calls big Larry to inform him that " the job is done " as he sits in the drivers seat listening as Larry says " good my boy, good here's your pay ". Alex's checks his account on his phone and seeing big Larry only gave him 40k, he gets mad saying " what the fuck you fat bastard where's my full pay ".
Big Larry simply says " ah yes that well my boy, you took too damn long to finish the contract " before hanging up leaving Alex speechless. Alex then before back while thinking to himself " took too damn long huh.... bullshit " but he's too hurt to care and heads home since it has been a very long night.
Alex having mostly recovered from the battle is walking into his apartment and seeing his grandmother. Seeing her kind frog face, the Ripper remembers the first time he met her.
He was small, tired and weak and laying near dead in some alleyway. He was so cold and so hungry, in truth he would have died then but that's she came. Like a light that's casted away the darkness which was about to consume him and she took him in, and gave him a home.
Alex's grandmother seems to be excited since there's a new drama show playing and she can't wait to tell him all about it.
Alex sits down next to her and listen on with a kind smile on his face. He's happy for two reasons, he's with his grandmother and he's ended the legacy of the children's brothel, forever.
As he listens to his grandmother, we pan out and see Lizz skipping along happily as the day shines, her future brighten by the Ripper.
