"When will the guardian receive the book?" Melchoir asked Ralph.
"In a couple of days." Ralph replied.
"Geez.....why can't it get to him earlier." Melchoir hissed.
"Melchoir see, she can't remember you. Just like the way you can't remember her name but you held on to her look." Ralph stood up from his seat and followed Melchoir who was already walking out of the chamber.
"Are you nuts Melchoir? Your fangs are out and see your eyes."
"Oops." Melchoir chuckled and they both saw a maid staring at them surprised by what she just saw.
"Really?" Ralph materialized beside her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Forget about what you saw. It was only your imagination."
The maid fell into his arms asleep.
"That's what I get for compelling people." Ralph hissed and snapped his fingers and the maid disappeared and reappeared in her room. "You should be really careful about your identity Melchoir. You know sometimes our compelling can cause brain damage."
"I know but I couldn't help it thinking about Kirana." Melchoir chuckled.
"Nice to see you finally laugh in a long time but I'm serious here." Ralph frowned and Melchoir nodded.
They both walked into the meeting hall where everyone was seated including the three other Lords.
"Your majesty, the pirates arrived two days ago and according to our usual tradition, we promote the head of the crew. They returned with a chest of gold for the palace." One of the chiefs said and Melchoir nodded knowing it is Kira's mother.
"Make her the head of all pirate crews." Melchoir replied surprising the chiefs he actually replied. The Lords were always the one to reply.
"And her daughter your majesty?"
Ralph shot Melchoir a deadly glare.
"He'll think about it." Ralph replied making Melchoir groan inwardly.
'Don't even think about it. You want her to be your what?'
'My queen of course.' Melchoir replied through their telepathy.
'Just shut up and focus that's if you can.'
Ralph rolled his eyes.
The rest of the meeting was boring to Melchoir. He just wanted to stand up and go on spying on Kira.
"Don't even think about it." Ralph pulled him before he could teleport.
"Oh, come on Ralph." Melchoir hissed.
"Melva sent for you." Ralph said and suddenly Melchoir's cheerful face turned dark. "Don't tell me I didn't inform you."
Melchoir just walked into his room and teleported to his sister's mansion. She was looking elegant as always with her brown hair up in a messy bun.
"Well, well, well brother." Her annoying voice made him roll his eyes. "Aww, that hurts my feelings lil bro."
"Why did you send for me?" Melchoir asked.
"I learnt you've found her." Melva smirked.
"You've been spying on me again haven't you?" Melchoir frowned.
"I don't have a choice but to. I can't afford father's insults when he finds out you still can't find your weakness." Melva smirked.
"Is that all?" He rolled his eyes.
"Oh, no. You'll have to be coming to the underworld with me today."
"Sorry sister I am not going." Melchoir teleported and appeared by the lagoon he usually spends time with Kira when they were young.
He sat at the edge of the water as dark smoke was coming out of his body, circling him.
"Woah what's the leaking of powers about?" Xander asked from behind.
"It is none of your business." Melchoir rolled his eyes.
"Oh, come on don't act all bratty now." Xander hissed.
"I gotta go." Melchoir stood up and felt another person's presence.
He quickly materialized beside the person watching them and compelled the person to forget what ever he saw and the man fell asleep.
Melchoir frowned as he walked into his room. "What's it Melchoir?" Ralph asked.
"I need to see Pa James." Melchoir groaned and Ralph nodded.
Melchoir disappeared and appeared in Pa James library.
"Pa James." Melchoir called and Pa James walked to him.
"You know your majesty, I told you not to just appear in my library like that.....what is wrong with your powers?" Pa James was cut short by the dark air coming out of his body.
"I don't know." Melchoir groaned and Pa James lead him into the basement which was filled with books also.
"Have your seat." Melchoir sat quietly with a slight frown on his face. "The book had nothing to do with it did it?"
"That's the only basic explaination right now." Pa James replied. "Trying to cut fate is very risky. It wasn't time for you to know she is around. And now....."
"She's here." Melchoir cut him off.
Pa James too could feel her presence. Her aura was the only one one can feel from miles. The aura was gentle soft and caressing.
"I'll be back." Pa James walked up to the library. With the help of his enchanted hearing he could hear what they were saying since he was just below them.
"Can I get a book which has details of other worlds?" She asked.
"I have a lot. There are some of the elves, fairies and demons." Pa James replied.
"Do demons fly?" She asked.
"No but I can give you one about the descendants of Lucifer which aren't demons." Pa James replied.
"Oh?" She sounded confused.
"I'll tell you this secret, no one knows about them so I will just lend it to you for a few days and no one must see it. It is very important." Pa James whispered.
"Okay. I'll make no one sees it." She replied.
"Wait a minute." Pa James walked back down the basement.
"Pa James, you can't tell me you'll give her the only book left. She might know we exist." Melchoir frowned.
"Well according to her gestures, she had seen one of you flying. I don't know who but that person needs some punishment." Pa James replied searching for the book.
"And what is the punishment? I only did what I had to do. I didn't know she could see me." Ralph hissed.
"Then I guess I'll leave you to Melva since it's you." Pa James replied bringing out a small chest and unlocking it. He brought out a book with black covers and a golden lock. It had the inscription "Lucifer Descendants."
"I just wish they could have given the book a better name. Can't they use our names? Demise is much better." Ralph hissed.
Pa James gave the book to Kira and she looked up to ask for the key.
"I'll auto unlock." He smiled.and she nodded before walking out of the library.
