He quickly backed away from the hole. Inside the hole was large flat round blades, lined up side by side. They were all spinning so fast that they could blend to pull, anybody that fell in.
"What now?" he grunted, his voice edging with dread.
He discovered a narrow log that crossed the gap, forming a bridge that they were meant to take in order to cross over to the other side. The bridge was so thin. Sebastian knew that there was no way he was going to be able to cross over with Zain on his shoulder. The result of doing that would be catastrophic because the tendency that they would both fall over was obviously high.
