Chapter 3 - 8. Shut up and keep your words

Septi, who looked fine and courageous in front of Adipati was merely a lie.

When she was in a hotel room that was supposed to be her room with Adipati, Septi was wailing. She's spouting his sorrows. Lamenting her fate that is far from pleasant. More like never being happy.

Septi ran over to her room balcony. She then screamed at the top of her voice, intending to relieve the tightness in her chest.

"Why is the world so unfair toward me! Why is life so cruel to me! Why should I bear all this shit?" shouted Septi when she was crying. "Now I live alone. No one loves and cares for me as my mother! Mom, I miss you. Hug me!" Scream Septi frustration. She cried out with pills. "You know, Mom, dad had not to pity for me. Dad was willing to arrange me a marriage with an unethical man to pay off his debts," said Septi. Septi seems like sharing her story with her dead mother who has always been her best listener when she was alive. Right now Septi looks like a crazy person who is swinging her laugh and tears continuously.

"Mom, I just want to go with you! Maybe that way I'll be happy with you. I will not be alone and feel lonely if I am with you!" said Septi as her looks began to lose her mind. Septi suddenly went up to that railing to end her life. Septi just needs to jump. After that, her soul will completely pass.

Absolutely, Septi can't help herself to pretend to be strong while actually, she is so fragile. Septi who was about to jump suddenly remembered his mother's words.

"Dear my Septi. When I'm gone, you have to promise me. You should be able to move on with your life. Be happy for me. Never be sad or do anything stupid, no matter what happens! I'm sure my daughter is a strong woman!" remembered all that her mother said the day before her beloved woman was called the almighty by a chronic illness with no cure, it made Septi back to herself, that she did something stupid that would make her mother sad.

"What am I thinking! Mother would be very sad if she saw me like this and she would be angry with me," said Septi, coming down off the fences of the balcony, knowing what she was about to do was something stupid. Septi wiped away the tears on her cheeks roughly. "I promised Mother. I will never do anything stupid that might piss her off!" said Septi confidently.

A second later her thoughts change again. "But, Mom. Isn't it better if I died? We can be together again," she said as if in a daze. "After all, no one would care if I died, right? Dad, Gerry, even Adipati! They're all the same. They didn't care whether I exist or not!" she groaned.

Her fragile frame of mind made Septi unable to think clearly. Too much frustration had clouded his right judgment. "I'm sorry, Mom. I know this is wrong. But this is better for me. End up my life for happiness at Mother's side," she silently cried again. Septi glanced at the sky covered with gray clouds. Grey like her heart. For Septi, today's weather suit enough to describe her feelings.

Septi felt settled already. She went back up on the fence. She had become completely convinced of her decision to end her life.

"Shiit!" Adipati swore. "Septi Adelia! What the hell are you doing. Have you lost your mind, huh!" shouted Asipati. He panicked when he saw Septi already standing on the fence intending to jump.

Adipati, who had an accord with Septi, finally let that woman go to the bridal chamber because she want to rest. Suddenly Adipati had a desire to follow Septi to his room to ask for the phone number of a woman he had barely known for a day but had become his wife. At first, it was very important for Adipati to exchange numbers to run their deal.

But who would have thought a surprise would welcome Adipati. To see the woman who seemed so strong a few minutes ago when they talked now suddenly wanted to end her life. Surely the Adipati didn't understand Septi's line of thought.

"Get out of here right now! Don't you dare obstruct me!" shouted Septi with a blushing face. Her tears were constantly streaming down her cheeks.

"Don't be crazy, Septi. Are you doing this on purpose to get me in trouble, huh!" Adipati is charged with emotion. He slowly stepped forward, walking toward the balcony to reach Septi.

Adipati realized that this time he must not act rashly. Just a single wrong step might be made Septi's life pass away.

"Do not come any closer!" Septi shouted, getting angrier. Her emotions were kindled seeing Adipati become closer. The memory of Adipati making love to Sonya in front of her disturbed her memory. Septi felt insulted again.

"Arghhh! You crazy girl! You woman of misfortune," said Adipati. He panicked when he saw Septi was ready to jump.

"Goodbye to a world full of pain," Septi shouted as she stretched out her hands. She was gonna free-fall, hoping after this all would be over.

Adipati who saw it quickens his pace. One minute late, Septi will die for sure. Adipati doesn't want that. It's not that he's afraid of losing Septi. But he was afraid of becoming a suspect and made him lose everything. He may even go to jail for being accused of murdering Septi.

Adipati still tried to approach Septi with silent movements. Apparently, Septi noticed that. She turned and pointed to Adipati as intent on stopping his footsteps.

"Stop -" Septi's noise suddenly stops when her foot slips and makes her body almost fall. She hangs from one arm and can still reach for the iron to support her weight.

Saw that, Dipati deftly grabbed Septi's wrist. Trying to help Septi climb back up onto the balcony.

"Get off me!" screamed Septi trying to escape from Adipati.

Instead of acting on orders, Adipati had more and more grip on Septi's wrist, tried to pull as hard as he could to prevent her from falling.

"Shut up and keep your words! Hold on, I'll save you!" Adipati said very seriously. He pulled out Septi's arm with all his might.

"Let go of me!" asked Septi still in revolt.

"No way!" Adipati shouted still willing to save Septi.
