After the argument, Kein was informed to come downstairs for dinner, he waited for a few minutes, taking enough air into his lungs before moving to the dining room.
when he settled down on his seat next to Laura, Donald's eyes were on him all along, trying to figure out what he is but can someone figure out what someone is, just by looking at the person?
" don't you know how to greet your host" Donald snapped at him but Kein was confused because he doesn't know what greetings are all about, making Nora burst out laughing. This became too weird for Laura that she has to whisper something into kein's ear
" am so sorry sir, good evening sir" Kein apologized after Laura must have told him what to do
" Sorry for your self ass hole" Nora sneered at him
" Nora what's wrong with you" Laura snapped at her daughter
" Everything is wrong here"
" Can we just eat our food in peace !!" Donald yelled getting pissed because of their unnecessary argument but still kept his gaze on Kein, Kein noticing the awkward situation decided to act on his plan to avoid the interrogation that will soon rain on him because he doesn't want to open up to anybody yet except Laura.
So when everyone started eating except Donald who kept his gaze on Kein making Laura rolled her eyes at her husband from time to time whenever she looked up from her food and still finds her husband still looking at Kein. This becomes too hard to be ignored by Kein, he hides his hands under the dining table golden light started radiating from his palm but no one noticed because the light was all over the room. Kein made Donald start eating at once, thereby removing his gaze on him, whenever Donald wants to talk, he will instantly shut him up with his ability, this continued for a long time until Nora became too impatient and decided to speak out
" Daddy, I thought you want to discuss something with him" Nora pointed out making her mom roll her eyes at her
" but I can't stop eating "Donald's voice came out a little bit muffled because he has a mouth full
" what do you mean dad, are you not the one with your own hands," Nora said confusedly
" am sorry but I can't stop" Donald murmured with food still in his mouth, this angered Nora the more
" you know what dad, am done here" she hissed, hitting her cutleries hard on the table before forcefully pushing her seat by the side and leaving angrily, this movement makes Laura burst out laughing so hard that tears were rolling down her cheeks " oh my god, this so funny" she commented still laughing after Nora has left the dining room
" Kein dear, please go over to your room so that I can discuss something with my husband," she said gesturing Kein over to his room
" yeah, sure" he replied and left
" what the....," Donald breathed out heavily after being released from kein's hold
" why breathing like you are being choked by someone" Laura commented and handed her husband a glass of water
" Indeed, I was being choked by something" Donald signed after drinking down the cup of water
" by your food ?, because I saw you eating your food nonstop without taking a break, please don't kill yourself trying to please your daughter, we are not in a food competition here, and am not ready to become a widow yet" Laura explained sarcastically " well, now you have gotten your self why don't we discuss whatever you want to discuss" she continued adjusting her seat while waiting for her husband to say whatever that is on his mind.
" what are you going to do with him ?" Donald asked
" I thought we have been through this before," Laura said rolling her eyes
" and I wasn't given a proper explanation "
" Why don't we adopt him, can't you see he is so harmless and calm but a little disturbed and down "
" Who knows whether he is a green snake in a green grass," Donald said sarcastically
" no, my Kein can never be that"
" oh, you have even started calling him ' My Kein " Donald surprisedly said
" oh Donald I wish you have eyes to see that this is a God's sent, can't you see how adorable he looks " Laura explained smiling to herself
" Well, you can discuss that with the policemen who are in charge of him, not me " Donald finalized and left the table, leaving a smiling Laura to herself
