Chapter 31 - Chapter XXXI: Land of Tea and Crumpets

It's been a few weeks since I was sent in that mission, and I was currently standing in front of General Ken- I mean, Donaldson. I was sent to his quarters, because he had something important to tell me.

"Soldier, you've shown great leadership skills in very difficult situations, adversity when faced with great challenges, and you are clearly capable to handle yourself in a battle.

Which is why, after weeks of your service here, you will pass through Britain with another 2 million soldiers as backup. You will be stationed there until further notice."

I wasn't too surprised, seeing as Britain was slowly being overpowered by the German forces going through their country and taking shit over.

I didn't expect to get involved in any of that. I expected to get stationed in Northern Ireland, but this works even better. I can show out during the war and rise up in ranks.

"Yes sir."

"You're dismissed. Go pack your bags soldier." I saluted and walked out. I slowly walked towards the sleeping quarters to pack my things.

Excitement course through my body as I continued to think about battling in this war. Over these millions of years, I've learned many fighting techniques from many people.

I've learned many martial arts from people like Genghis Khan, Spartacus, Alexander The Great, and even Vlad The Impaler.

Vlad was a bit tougher to learn from, since he wanted to impale me the moment he saw me for some reason, but fear can make almost any man fumble.

I walked into the quarters with an aura of confidence and a smirk.

I packed my stuff and walked right next to Stupid Stu, who was jumping on his bed like a child.

"Why are you packing your bags dude? You getting discharged or something? If that's the case then I'll bask in my victory." Stu said with an assuming smirk.

"Nope, I'm going straight to Britain amigo." As soon as he heard that, he stopped jumping on the bed and almost fell off. He turned and looked at me with shock.

"It's only been a few weeks, maybe even a month, and you're already getting sent to war? That's bullshit! Why haven't I been sent out to war yet?"

"Maybe because everyone can see you're not mentally stable or mature enough for war."

"Nah." I stared at him dumbfounded. I inevitably shook my head at my best friend and started to walk away.

"I'll see ya soon Stu."

"Yeah whatever."

I had just landed in the apparent Great Britain , only after a long flight of course. It also was not first class like I originally thought the flight would be, but I'm not complaining.

I stepped out of the airport and looked for the car that was waiting for me there. I got in the back of the car and silently waited for the driver to arrive at the set destination.

The driver stopped at a hotel. I got out of the car and into it. I got into my room and sat down on my bed.

I thought about what to do next and I had the perfect idea for a man as bored as me.

"Tourism!" I jumped off the bed and out of the room. I ran out the hotel and started walking around London, which is where I was.

I passed many memorable locations like the Big Ben, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and the Buckingham Palace. Places like the London Eye or the London Bridge hasn't been built yet.

I was walking past an alley, when I felt a gaze on me from inside of it. I haven't felt this kind of gaze since I met Dracula. This was a vampire gazing at me, actually, there were two. I turned towards the gaze and focused on where it was coming from.

Behind the dumpster, two pairs of red orbs with slits were staring into my own. They seemed curious at how I knew they were there, but I could tell they were more predatory then friendly.

They were hungry.

They weren't a threat to me, so I walked into the alley. Despite me being the first Black Panther, I couldn't say that curiosity would kill this cat.

As soon as I was in close range of the vampire, they pounced on me. I got a good look at them and saw that they had the figure of teenagers. I couldn't recognize who they were, so they must've been some kind of comic character.

They attempted to tackle me to the ground and rip my throat out, but of course, you and I both know that didn't happen.

I stood in place and watched these two vampires bite me all over. They only realized that their attempts were futile after 5 minutes.

They dropped down and slowly backed away in vigilance. They were upset they couldn't easily kill me and were probably afraid of the power that I unconsciously released from my body.

"Calm down children, if I wanted you dead, you would be." They lowered their guard just a little bit.

"What are you?" One of them asked. They had never seen such a case of a human. Every human they've ever encountered has always been an delicious and quick kill, but I wasn't either, well, I wasn't a quick kill.

I can't say I'm delicious towards these children because that's weird. I just don't swing that way.

"Me? Well, I'm Billy Loomis." He raised an eyebrow in disbelief. My religion has even spread to the vampires, probably because of the things I said to Dracula.

"You? Billy Loomis? Billy Loomis is dead."

"The fastest man alive can never die." He turned around in shock at the voice in his ear. I ran behind him and left no trace of disappearance.

"Is that proof, or do I need to do something else?" He only nodded. He was analyzing on how I could've moved from in front of him to behind him in an instance. He seemed to be a Billy Loomis hater.

The other vampire behind him was quite the opposite of a Billy Loomis hater. His eyes carried a look of awe at the entire confrontation.

"Here." I threw two hoodies at each of them so they could walk around in the day. "Follow me." I walked out of the alley and towards a large body of water that shouldn't have anybody there.

It took them a second to realize. They put on the hoodie and walked out of the alley and behind me. One of them immediately ran to my side and started fanboying over Billy Loomis.

"Are you really Billy Loomis?" I nodded.

"If you're really Billy Loomis, then what two paintings did Billy Loomis help Leonardo DiVinci to make?" I wearily smiled to myself at the question.

I couldn't help but change a few things in history. Who wouldn't want to be friends with Leonardo DiVinci? He literally made the Mona Lisa, he's a dog!

"The male Mona Lisa and Mona Lisa." He wasn't too moved by the answer since anyone could know that, and continued with this questionnaire.

"Okay, what is the one animal that Billy Loomis despises?" My face went from relaxed, to coldness. I remember those birds, even to this day they haunt me.

I carried my cold gaze towards a tree with a birds nest in it. There was a bird in it who stared right back at me. He knew me and I knew him. We were enemies.

"Birds. I hate those damn birds. They were the first war that I was in. There were thousands of birds and only one man. No matter how many birds there were, they stood no chance, against the fastest man alive."

I made sure not to say anything that hasn't been released to the world yet.

I turned towards the teenager who had stars in his eyes. You would think that a kid his age wouldn't act this way, but I guess not.

He was obviously mesmerized at my great speech, and he now firmly believed in my identity.

"You are Billy Loomis. Your words and expressions were so real." We continued to have conversations while walking, the other kid occasionally joining in.

He was more interested in the truth rather than my stories that anyone would know about me.

After about thirty minutes, we made it to a lake. I ran around it to make sure no one was there. They were surprised at my speed, but this time they could actually see me run due to my lightning.

It still looked a bit like teleportation.

"Well, you brought us here. How will you prove your identity?" He looked at me expectantly.

"Just watch." I lowered my speed a little before running onto the lake. I started running in a circle. I created a small water tornado, just big enough to not be bigger than most of the trees here.

I started running in the opposite direction and all the water that I picked up, came crashing down back into the water.

I ran back over to the two vampire boys.

"I told you my name, what's yours?"
