Sighing, I sat on the ground and watched Onaki in her eager battle against the Alpha Hibiscus. The Alpha Hibiscus swung its claws at Onaki, cuts of air pressure flying in her direction at the force behind it. From a distance, it looked damn close for Onaki, as it looked like the air pressure blades had hit her.
But she was prepared and cast the same spell I did earlier against the Alpha Ursus. When the blades and the barrier collided, a massive gust of wind was created that swept away everything around her. Even up to me, the strong wind reached, and I had to make an effort not to be swept away by the current as well.
Gradually, after the wind calmed down, Onaki dissolved the barrier and now dictated a spell that I did not know yet. ''O Lord of the heavens, lend me an all-penetrating lightning bolt! Wrath of a Thousand Storms!'' she shouted shortly after dictating the spell, and substantial black lightning bolts formed on her palm. They were much more powerful lightning than conventional ones. Not even a millisecond passed, and the many black lightning bolts directly hit the Alpha Hibiscus. However, Onaki fell to her knees, panting. She had not yet fully mastered this technique.
Victory! The Alpha Hibiscus had a deep hole in its torso. However, something was wrong because it did not fall to the ground. ''That a human would possess such powers surprises me...'' the Alpha Hibiscus replied to Onaki in a monstrous voice, and the hole on its torso began to close. It was able to regenerate. Onaki was in danger. She was drained because of the potent spell and could only breathe croakily.
''Hey, Brahm! Go! Save her. She can't take anymore! She's going to die!'' I shouted in a troubled voice to Brahm. Onaki stared in terror into the eyes of the Alpha Hibiscus as it lunged for the killing blow.
Brahm stood between Onaki and the Alpha Hibiscus within seconds and intercepted the beast's claw strike with only one arm. Brahm could now be seen again in his true form. Veins formed around Brahm's arm. So strong he held the paw of Alpha Hibiscus and did not let go. ''Guardian, I cannot allow my pupil to be killed by you,'' Brahm replied to the beast in a grim and bloodthirsty voice. Brahm's strength of grip shattered the arm of the Alpha Hibiscus after that. It let out a roar of pain that broke all the trees around us.
As powerful as the Alpha Hibiscus was, it was inferior to Brahm, and this caused the Alpha Hibiscus to cry out in frustration. ''Let go of my arm already. Let go of it so I can gouge your face, creature of the high council!'' the Alpha Hibiscus shouted in anger and pain. Brahm loosened his grip and let go of the beast's arm, allowing it to break free. I ran toward Onaki and carried her away from the battlefield.
''I failed... I didn't think that this creature had healing powers,'' she said, humiliated, looking away from me in shame as I carried her to safety in my arms. I understood very much that this shattered her pride and that her self-confidence was affected by it. ''It's not your fault. It's an alpha hibiscus.'' The alpha Ursus warned me about this creature. Cheer up. I replied, comforting and understanding, we will train more and become stronger,'' I replied, comforting and understanding. Back in action, the beast and Brahm took some distance from each other.
The Alpha Hibiscus prepared to attack and let out a roar at Brahm, the echoes of which cut through everything on their way to him. Brahm held one hand forward, intending to ward off the beast's attack with one hand. In the end, the echo of this attack hit him, but all that could be seen as a superficial scratch. Brahm was far superior to the creature and thus wanted to demonstrate his strength. The Alpha Hibiscus stared at Brahm in terror and slowly took a few steps backward until it fled from Brahm. Brahm decided to let this beast live, for it merely wanted to fulfill its duty as a guard.
''Are you all right? Onaki, are you not hurt either? The next step is to learn a light healing spell. Cuts can be healed with it, but if a body part is severed, it cannot grow back,'' Brahm explained and taught us better. He took the book of spells and showed us the spell.
Since the beast was no longer a threat to us, we trained and fought each other. However, we both held back a bit so that no one would be life-threateningly injured. After all, our spells were potent. We took a little break to regain our strength. We had now spent a whole week in Inazuma Forest. I became more impatient with each passing day and wanted to continue training immediately. After all, every day meant a human life. I felt so powerless against it. I wondered how my brother was doing.
They would leave him alive until the end. I was very sure of that. Because he was the biggest reason why I wanted to appear there in the land of the demons. We left the depths of the forest and made our way back to the cabin. We were now to train for the first one in front of the hut. On the way back, we again walked past the open blood-red flowers. Once again, we heard the wailing and whimpering of the souls trapped in the flowers. I could feel nothing but regret and compassion. Onaki picked two opened flowers that kept making confused sounds and clenched a fist with her other hand. The souls of her parents were trapped in those flowers.
I could hear sobbing and whimpering. She was crying out of nowhere. ''Mother... Father... Please forgive me for running away at that time. I should have died with you...'' she said, sobbing and tearful as she held the flowers in front of her face. ''It's not your fault...'' the flowers replied. She looked at the flowers in shock and wiped away her tears. The souls trapped in the flowers had managed to have free will for some reason. ''We will be with you forever, but you must free us from this world, do you hear Onaki? We cannot rest in peace like this,'' said the two voices of her parents from the flowers. Onaki understood what had to be done now and mentally prepared herself to liberate her parents' souls. She quickly tore the flowers into several pieces. The glow of the flowers ceased, and the voices emanating from them died away. Her parents were now free.
I then decided to destroy every blood-red flower in the forest so that none of the souls were trapped here on the planet. I summoned my hellblade and struck a blow. Onaki and Brahm protected themselves from my blast with a protective barrier. With a single blow, I cut and burned all the flowers of the souls and watched as the souls moved away from the flowers. I also ensured that no closed flower was left so that no souls could land here.
