Adriana could not contain her happiness for the rest of the week after seeing her friend. She had never thought that she would get to meet her friend and after telling her about Rafael, she felt more at peace.
"Child, I must say you are different this time. May I know what happened? I mean it's not every day I get to see my princess this happy, mind if I share in that happiness too, my love?"
"But of course dad, I want you to be as happy as I am always."
"Wow, that sounds great. Then it must be something to be happy about."
"I found my long-lost friend today. Her name is Diane," Adriana expressed, happily.
"The one you told me helped you a lot while you were at the pack?"
"She's the one. I was so happy to see her."
"I'm glad you were able to find your friend, despite all of the hurdles. At least now you won't be so sad thinking about those rogues or your mate."
Adriana raised a brow at her father's last statement.
