ADRIANA
Adriana had no idea what to think at that moment. She was confused and at a loss for words to speak. She never expected things to turn out that way.
While she paced the floor of the room which was prepared for her, she suddenly heard a knock on her door.
"Miss Addy, may I come in?" She immediately recognised the voice as that of Dora.
"You may come in." She quickly sat on her bed and stopped pacing so Dora won't see how nervous she was.
"Miss Addy, I brought you some fruits."
Adriana smiled at Dora as she took the fruit tray from her.
"Thank you so much, Dora," she appreciated. But then, Adriana thought that Dora might not be in her room just to give her fruits. Her expression shows that there's more she wanted to say.
"Okay, I know you want to say something, spill."
Dora stared at her for a while and heaved a long sigh.
"Aren't you worried, Miss Addy?"
