Rafael paced the floor in the office while waiting for feedback from his men.
His daughter had been restless ever since she claimed to have seen her mom in the garden. She had even led him right into the garden where her supposed mom was. He would have thought his daughter was just having another episode if not for the scent which he had perceived earlier.
Even though it had taken a day because he wasn't around the pack when it happened. The fact that he felt a close bond with the scent he perceived in the garden, gave him the idea that his daughter wasn't wrong with what she had felt earlier. She had been right all along when she told him about meeting someone, but still, he hasn't convinced the person she saw was her mom. Petra did not possess such a scent. This scent was far too calm to be hers.
His daughter had never seen her mother's pictures yet, how could he confirm her claim?
