"Nice to see you too, Jeremy," Adriana could tell she was nervous due to how shaky her voice sounded.
"Uhm, it's nice seeing you today. I mean, I thought you were out of town since you weren't picking up your calls."
"I'm sorry about that. I travelled to..... for the launching of my new company."
