King and Leah are in a moving car, with T in the front seat and the driver. D and J are in the car in front of them. King and Leah sit in silence. Leah looks at King and wants to say something but refrains from it. She turns to look at him again and as she is about to speak, their car stops.
"why we stop? Wetin dey occur?" King asked.
"shit!" T said.
"T?" King called.
"boss. It's Baba Sege's men. He been set up one stupid check point since you been comot, but for two weeks now, they no dey this side" T said.
"boss?" King's driver called.
"move, no fear" King said and the driver moves forward then the car get's stopped by Baba Sege's men. They hit the car, causing the driver to wind down.
"who you be?" one of Baba Sege's men asked King's driver from his window side.
"you know see who I carry for back?" King's driver answers.
"who be that?" the man asked again. King comes down from the car and T comes down too and goes to stand next to King as walks over to where Baba Sege's men are. On seeing King step out of the car, they begin to shift back and hail him.
"ah, boos, we no know say na you. Abeg no vex, come dey go" the man who was questioning the driver said.
"wetin be all this misbehaviour. By the time I reach house so, I no wan hear say una still dey this place, whether na check point una dey call am or wetin, I no one hear am. Una dey hear me so?" King says and they all nod their heads. King turns around and gets back into his car and T goes back in too.
"what was that all about?" Leah asked.
"nothing. Let's go" King said. Though his reaction hurt her, it also made her somewhat scared, but she ignored it, besides King knows best, she told herself. as they are about to move, they hear a knock on Leah's window. King looks at her, then looks at T. He looks back at Leah and motions for her to roll down the window.
"what?" King asks.
"ah, boss, I just say make I greet you one last time before you comot" the Baba Sege's man said. As Leah sees him, she flashes back at the day of the incident and she remembers he was the first person who spotted her. He looks at Leah then looks back at King and then gives him a fake smile then leaves and as Leah winds the window back up, she sees a man standing at the other side of the road, looking at her.
"he was one of them chasing me that day" Leah said, referring to the Baba Sege's man that just stopped them.
"did he see your face that day?" King asked.
"he did" Leah responded. T turns around and looks at King then King looks back at T and both of them had said all that needed to be said with those looks, they knew what was coming next. King then looks at the driver from the rear view mirror.
"move" King said to him and then the driver began to move.
They get back to King's place and his boys are greeting him as he comes. He gets in and tells them to get ready. With that statement, some his boys leave and go to where they are supposed be, some stay with him and T as they are making some arrangements. After a while, King leaves T, Leah walks up to T.
"does he think Baba Sege is coming for me?" Leah asked.
"those were his men and if he recognized you, which I'm sure he did, he will storm this place with his boy's tomorrow. And that will mean some extra renovations for us. But then again our boss is rich so…" T said which made Leah chuckle and T to smile in turn. They remain silent for a bit before Leah speaks up.
"who is Dupe?" Leah asked. On hearing the name, T turns to her abruptly and says sternly. "don't ever mention that name again if you want to keep breathing. And I mean it" T said. Leah looks at him as he looks at her. T then looks away and she gulps.
"that bad?" Leah asked.
"terrible. Someone has died once, just mentioning that name in this place and I'm dead serious. No try am. How you even take know the name sef… in fact no answer. Just forget it" T said. Leah goes silent for a while. T drops what is in his hand and looks at her. "see, no fear. Baba Sege na nothing" T said.
"then why did we leave in the first place" Leah asked.
"because K no won fight, fight na him last card before he check-up. But this fight gat happen. And Baba Sege no go come back house alive tomorrow unless him surrender. So worry yourself. Your man got this" T says then winks at her and she lets out a small smile. T goes back to what he is doing and then they continue talking.

Jude was pacing around anxiously, looking between his phone and his entire living room. Worry had consumed him. He waited and waited for his phone to ring and when it di ring, it made his heart even skip more, than relax it as he thought it would.
"so?" Jude asked eagerly as he answered the phone.
"I don check am, the info dey correct" Tony said and Jude cursed under his breath. What was he going to do? He thought. This was not the plan, in fact the plan was quite simple. Tony and his men were going to be waiting for her, just as she is about entering Oshodi, she was never supposed to make it to anywhere else asides the grave. All of this was supposed to be a horrifying news. Well it was already a horrifying news, she survived, that was horrifying!
Jude paced around, still thinking on what to do about his situation.
"bros J, you still dey there?" Tony asked.
"yeah, I'm here" Jude replied.
"this matter don jaga-jaga oh. Yawa don gas" Tony said.
"whose fault is that?" Jude asked.
"see bros J, this one no be time to dey point fingers oh. Na time wey we suppose find solution" Tony said, which only succeeded in making Jude hiss. But in the midst of that, Jude's eyes widened as though an idea had popped into his head, and indeed one had.
"so bros J wetin we go do now?" Tony asked as Jude took his seat.
"I think I have a plan" Jude said as a small smile crossed his face, which turned into a bigger smile as the idea in his head became more clear. He knew just what to do.
