Chapter 20 - Chapter 19: My one and only

With one knee on the ground, I looked up at Seram.

Seram had quickly clasped my face, pulling me closer to her own, her pink eyes examining me, "I didn't hurt you, did I?"

Seram's so close, and she's so pretty too. I could smell the faint pheromone of a strawberry cake from her.

I could feel my face grow a bit hot. I smiled anxiously, "n-no, I'm fine!"

Seram moved back from me and patted my head, "I'm so sorry, I have trouble holding back..." -Seram bent down hugging onto her short legs, poking the amethyst grass- "It's been so long since I had sparred against someone else..."

All I could do was stare at the short woman, feeling sweat on my forehead.

I gestured my hands, trying to help her out in some way, "don't worry Seram, I'm perfectly fine." I said this, until we both had heard my stomach growl like a starved beast.

Seram raised her head, and turned it to me, making a small frown that looked more like a pout of sort.

I wryly smiled, rubbing the back of my neck, "...well, except for being hungry."

Seram stood, wiping the dust off her vermillion kimono, "right. I'll make us some food then."

We continued our walk, making our way to her lodging.

It still baffles me that this place is an entire dimension. It's so broad and filled with life. I never thought I'd come across this before. At least not until I made my own, or mom would make one to show me.

I looked over to Seram, "do you ever go to the outside world Seram?"

Seram rubbed her cheek, hesitating to reply, "we-well, maybe a few times throughout the year or so."

"How come?"

Seram gave a cute, nervous chuckle, "I love it here." -Seram raised her head, looking high into the violet sky- "It's peaceful... maybe because I'm alone here."

I nodded, I can definitely understand where she's coming from, "that makes sense. Matter of fact, where is the exit to this place?"

I still have to get back home, I miss mom and dad. I'm sure they're worried about me too. I just hope that they're fine.

Seram tapped her lips, "the exit is the same way you came from, there's only one here. The only thing is this dimension is set to open and close at a certain time frame. It usually takes a week or two until it opens again."

"WHAT??!"

Mom's going to kill me...

Seram continued her explanation, "oh yeah, time here runs differently as well. A week outside would be considered three months in here too."

I slouched at this point, "there isn't a way to open it?"

"No, unfortunately there's not. My mother created this place when I was a little girl. And even with my strength, she was no weakling. Trying to not only manipulate, but also completely control and break down someone else's spatial kinetics is very challenging and time inducing. Plus, I like it here, so I never paid much mind to it."

This caught me by surprise.

I didn't think that it's actually possible to control someone else's spatial kinetics. Also, Seram speaks like she has those powers too. I eyed her, "you have spatial kinetics Seram?"

Seram nodded, "yes, my mother taught me a lot."

The only person I've met that can use spatial kinetics is mom. I could consider Aunt Taekhyu, but she's deceased now. However, Seram can also utilize it, this is pretty cool.

A thought had come to mind from this.

"Hey Seram, if I'm gonna be stuck here for a week or two, do you think you could possibly teach me more on how to control my spatial kinetics?"

"Of course. I have no qualms with that."

At that time, we had made it to Seram's home, surrounded by towering trees. It's a small cottage, but it looks nice. The entire house was made of white marble, the same as the tomb. Having a porch with two sets of chairs.

We made it to the door, and Seram opened it. I was a bit surprised; the interior looks bigger than what it seems from the outside. The floor is made of soft, brown carpet. The living room is right across from us, having a large white sofa in the middle, along with two gray cushioned chairs on either side. On my left, a little kitchen with a small circular marble table and two seats.

A hall is connected to the living room, and I came to see two rooms on opposite ends from each other.

This atmosphere is very homely, and it's cozy too.

After entering, Seram had closed the door and turned to me, "I insist you take a bath first, then you can eat."

"Okay," I replied to Seram, but then I looked around, "um... Where's the bath at?"

Seram chuckled, "just walk through the hall."

I simply squinted my eyes, maybe there's some type of trick. I walked through the short hall, passing the two rooms. I stopped, staring at the white wall for a moment.

If I hit my head...

I huffed and moved forward. However, the wall began to slowly disperse and shift, as if it was smoke. My eyes had come to see a large bath house before me.

"Woah..."

The floor and the smooth black rocks encircled the heated water. Small white orbs shined like small stars, all floating throughout this pleasant area. I could see tiny birds fly through and over the large forest around this place.

I was baffled by this. This place reminded me of Aunt Savitra's home.

I hope she's doing okay too; it's been a while since I last seen her.

Without another thought, I hopped into the bath.

****

After I had bathed, I seen a small blue kimono folded on a stool. Looks like Seram left this out for me. She's really nice.

And pretty, very pretty.

I changed into it and headed through the wall. When I got inside, I could smell that wonderful scent of meat.

It smelled utterly delicious...

I entered the kitchen, coming to see Seram placing white rice and some type of delightful meat onto a small table, along with long green beans.

Seram looked over to me, "ah, I'm happy that the kimono fits. I had used my spatial kinetics to make it your size."

"Thank you, it fits well," I replied, taking another whiff of the food, "this smells amazing..."

Seram chuckled, "please, eat to your hearts content, I may have made a bit too much."

I quickly took a seat, and after Seram did, I grabbed a fork by the plate and dug in. This food is the epitome of fantastic. The rice had somehow complemented the meats sweet, yet strong flavor. It's almost like a broth soup.

I finished my first plate in under seconds and moved onto the next.

Seram laughed, "...you were quite hungry as it seems."

"Oh yeah, it feels like I haven't eaten in days!"

Seram had sat her fork down, and looked over to me, "so, Sin. How exactly did you come across all those beasts?"

I paused, thinking back to what happened, "...I had followed a large diversity of them walking to somewhere. After I did, it was almost like an army of them in this field. They were all attacking a group of challengers. And then there was this man..."

"What man?" Seram asked, listening closely.

I shook my head, "I'm...I'm not too sure. I couldn't see his face. But he wore a blood red robe, and had this peculiar cross emblem on his chest..."

Seram remained silent for at least a couple of seconds, not saying a word.

I sat my fork down, eyeing her, "is everything okay?"

Seram replied, "y-yes. I'm just pondering on whom that could be. Even though I don't go out much, I still am familiar with everything in the kingdoms. I've never heard of an emblem such as that."

I sighed, "me neither..."

Seram responded, "it'd be best if you keep an eye out when you're back outside, Sin. Whatever that man is doing, he's up to no good."

I nodded taking her words, it'll be best to let dad and mom know about this too. This guy could be a potential threat to the kingdom.

After we had finished eating, I slouched on my chair, rubbing my belly as I yawned, "...man, that food was really good. Thanks, Seram."

Seram smiled, resting her chin on her hand as she leaned on the table, "no need to thank me. I'm happy that I was able to make something good for you."

Seram had stood, and stretched, "well, I'm a bit tired. Would you like for me to show you the room you'll be sleeping in?"

"Sure," I agreed, following Seram through the hall.

She went into the room on her left, and it's not a bad size either. The bed is in the left corner, with a small nightstand set next to it, along with a lamp atop it. A window showing the night sky is across from me. Plus, a closet door on my right.

Seram patted my head, "I'll be right across from you. So just shout if you need me."

"Alrighty, thank you!"

Seram smiled, walking into her room and closing the door.

I closed mine and got onto the soft brown bed. Today has surely been an interesting one. To think I'd see my own deceased aunt, and the very woman she raised. Who happens to be a very powerful person, at that.

But that message of Taekhyu is still running through my thoughts, however. That expression of hers, that menacing aura. Whatever it was, it wasn't good. That was clearly blatant rage, I'd have to be a fool to not figure that out. I need to find out what that message is, it could be extremely important.

I could feel my eyes slowly close, and I had fell asleep.

*****

Seram Rillem-

Quietness, utter and complete silence.

I stood over someone, a little boy, sleeping pleasantly on the bed. Such a beautiful child, at that.

His silken, wavy golden hair brushed to his neck. His breathing is so calm, at peace in comfort. Dressed in the blue kimono I had given him.

I raised my hand, and gently brushed his hair back, looking down at Skysin. He'll be such a handsome man when he's older.

I bent forward, perking my lips and planting a kiss onto his forehead. Skysin had lightly budged, making small noises as he twisted and turned.

I couldn't help but feel my face grow hot. Quickly, I teleported in silence, standing outside of my cottage. A smile, a wide grin, had formed on my face.

"Heheh..." I covered my mouth, and slowly fell to my knees, trying to control my hectic laughter as I cackled like my mind was covered in insanity.

I had stood, still chuckling, staring into the star-filled night sky that hovered above me, "two hundred years...two hundred, godforsaken years..."

He's finally here, the man I love with my entire heart and soul. My husband, Dranon. I gently hugged myself, licking my lips. All I could think of was performing so many lecherous things to him...

But he's far too young as of now. I need to control myself. I couldn't do such a thing to a child, especially with a giant age gap between us.

However, everything is going just as planned.

Just as I had thought. Even though all had went accordingly, I can't help but feel excited. Now it's time for me to further my machinations. Skysin's - Dranon's talent is far more than what I expected. And now that I have a good grasp at where his power is, it's easy to determine how strong he'll be in five years' time.

"That's right..." I spoke to myself, thinking back to when Skysin explained about meeting one of my underlings, that idiot Hugo...

I thought I had thoroughly explained to him on not trying to kill Skysin. "That lessor bastard..." I growled clenching my fist, the dimension around me began to distort. I quickly calmed myself, releasing a soft breath of air.

I slowly rose from the ground, flying into the air. I soared from the cottage at high speeds, coming to land atop a hill. I raised my hand, and created a portal made of violet.

A tall man around six feet had steadily walked through the portal I created. His spikey blue hair brushed over his forehead, his lazy eyes being the same color. Wearing a blood red robe with my emblem on his chest, a cross.

Hugo bent forward as he bowed, crossing his arm over his chest, "My lady Nitanz... To what do I owe the pleasure?"

I eyed the man, my face expressionless, "Hugo, come here."

Hugo had looked a bit surprised from my words, but he quickly stood and walked over to me. Just when his lips were about to form a sentence, I spoke before him, "you're forgetting something. Or might I remind you?"

Hugo had quickly prostrated before me, set on his elbows and knees, his head lowered.

Just as a lessor should do.

I smiled, "good..."

I lifted my leg and crashed my foot right onto the back of Hugo's head. The entire hill had cracked in half. I could hear Hugo groan in pain, but I don't care.

I hummed, looking down at him, "...Hugo, do you know what you've done wrong?"

Hugo shuddered, shaking his head as my foot stayed on him, "n-no Milady..."

I swung my foot back from his head, and kicked his face, punting Hugo right into the air. As he flew, I used gravity, slamming him into the ground.

I steadily flew to Hugo, hovering right over him, "Hugo, I believe I informed you of what the target looks like. And what you're not to do. What does he look like?"

Hugo coughed, "a kid with golden blonde hair and violet eyes, Milady..."

I pointed a finger at him, and a small, red ball of energy had slowly flown to him. The ball of energy had touched the top of Hugo's forehead and seared his skin. He began to shriek in pain. I watched the ball slowly create a horrid scar on his face, steadily trailing down his nose, to his chin.

This isn't just some regular ball of plasma. This sphere is created from the power of a supernova. Hugo's lucky that I condensed its power, drastically. If I didn't, he would've died by the time I produced this.

I frowned, "...and you weren't supposed to attempt in killing him, you ingrate. But it seems like my orders are not important, no?"

Hugo covered his face, still groaning in pain as he whimpered, "I'm...I'm sorry Milady...! It won't happen again; I can assure you!"

I began to descend, floating over him, "Hugo, why shouldn't I kill you right now?"

Hugo paused, that horrendous scar on his face did nothing but make him even more revolting to look at. Hugo stuttered, falling back to his knees, "because Milady, I can still do my part. I can follow your orders!"

I chuckled, "well, you certainly proved to me that you can't. But sense Skysin isn't dead, and he's alright, I'm feeling quite good today. So I'll let you live."

"Thank you Milady! Thank you!"

I used my aura, watching the pink and silver energy cover Hugo in an instant. I raised him from the ground, staring deep into his eyes, "the most you are to do is harm Skysin. Do not put him in an unrecoverable state, break his bones, or kill him, by any means. If you do..."

I manipulated my aura, making it squeeze Hugo, "I will be sure to keep you alive and experiment on you. I'll make sure that you'll always have a conscious mind as I do so, and you will feel every. Single. Thing. Do I make myself clear?"

Hugo nodded, "Yes...Yes Milady."

I cancelled my aura and dropped him to the ground. Hugo clashed against the dirt, landing on his chest, breathing harshly.

I created a violet portal behind him, "now leave. Tell the others that we'll be proceeding to the next order of plans, understood?"

Hugo stood, bowing, "yes of course..." He limped into the portal, disappearing.

I wiped the dust from my kimono, and teleported back into the room of my cottage that Skysin is sleeping in.

I looked down at him, gently smiling, he's just so adorable like this. To think I finally get to be with my husband again, although it'll be a short time for now. The future surely awaits.

It wouldn't hurt to lay with him, would it? I can come up with a lie when he wakes up tomorrow.

I got into the bed with him, putting the cover over us. I gently held Skysin close, having him lie his head on my rather large chest.

I can't wait, we'll finally be a family again. We'll have our precious children once more and live such peaceful lives with them.

I felt a tear form, sliding down my face.

I kissed Skysin's forehead once more and closed my eyes.

"I love you."
