"I remember I was outside, crying my eyes out when Mr. Holmes here found me. He just came and took me into his arms."
"Just like that?" Cindy asked.
"Just like that," Angela confirmed. "He didn't ask me if I was alright like most people would probably have done. I felt as if my world had been torn apart. Here I was, a young detective with a career that brimmed with promise and the one person I would have wanted to be there to guide me through the journey was gone. But then the big man happened, as if he was sent from heaven. So I know if anyone can get justice for you it's him. And me too of course," she added sending the trio into a snicker.
"I don't doubt his capabilities. I see he is to you what Jake is to me," Cindy said.
"Probably, but without the intimate stuff," Angela responded.
