Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

Not long after, Haechan and Renjun returned from their pursuit. They met together to report to the Sun King.

"Sir!"

"Sir!"

Both of them were panting. Running together like twins the two came and the Sun King said.

"What?" he asked quite curiously.

"How? Did you guys manage to get Prince Rio?" he continued back.

Standing face to face Haechan replied, "No sir. We lost track of them."

"That's right sir… Commander Arjuna managed to outwit us, and made us lose track of them easily," continued Renjun, continuing Haechan's words.

"You idiot… Stupid!" the wrath of the Sun King.

This shouldn't be the report he wanted to hear. Anger of course, and he slapped his men one by one in the face.

Plaque… Until it turns red and has marks on the palms of his hands.

"Forgive us sir," begged both of them immediately. Directly kneeling under the feet of the Sun King.

"You guys are lousy guards! You can't even catch an old man! Where is your strength, huh? How can you not catch a slow snail like Arjuna?!"

He was angry as he should be. What is expected is not as expected. Of course he was very disappointed with Haechan and Renjun.

"Forgive us sir. Commander Rajuna used barrier mist magic which made us lose track of him," Haechan explained.

"That's right, sir. The fog made our vision blurry," continued Renjun.

"You don't have to find excuses! You are the only ones who can't be relied on! You can't even catch a slow-paced snail, let alone catch a lion, maybe you will be killed by the lion!"

Even though he was kneeling under his feet like a beggar, neither Haechan nor Renjun could get their King's forgiveness. It's not the apology they receive, but the anger they get.

"This is all your fault."

Renjun blamed Haechan for what happened earlier.

"How come you blame me? Aren't you also wrong?" Renjun evaded.

He couldn't just be blamed because he wasn't the only one to blame, but Haechan was to blame as well.

"No, if it wasn't for you wanting to pee first, maybe we wouldn't have lost track of that Arjuna," Renjun snapped.

"Oh… So you're blaming me for peeing while on duty? Fine. I accept the accusation… But then you're also in the wrong?" Reply Haechan

"What do you mean?" Renjun asked again.

"Who told you to be a coward who doesn't want to be left alone… You alone want to accompany me when I pee? You yourself don't want to walk in the middle of the forest, because it's dark? Come on… Who's at fault, too?" continued Haechan again.

"Hey!"

He himself blamed it entirely on Haechan, and when Haechan turned to give him an accusation Renjun didn't accept Haechan's words.

They both blamed each other. Instead of constantly apologizing to the Sun King, this only made his Master even more annoyed.

"Stop!"

Screaming, shouting loudly, his blood pressure rose when he heard the two lousy bodyguards he had were blaming themselves. He must have been stressed when he heard that.

Instead of helping to provide a solution, Haechan and Rencun actually made things worse.

"What the hell are you guys fighting like kids! Stop blaming each other! You're all in the wrong!"

"Sorry sir," pleaded back with a bend in the face, and begging for forgiveness from his master.

Finding out that having two useless bodyguards made the Sun King suffocate. He took a deep breath.

"Never mind... Now think about how we can get the Ruby of immortality?"

Thinking out loud. Not being able to get what he wanted made the Sun King think extra about how to get Prince Rio back? And kill the immortal King Byun?

"Ha ha ha ha."

Leave it in a state of dying or not, but King Byun can still laugh even though he's holding his breath on Monday-Thursday.

"Why are you laughing? Your life is on the verge of dying, it turns out you can still laugh too apparently? Huh," he sighed.

The Sun King walked over to King Byun who had been thrown several meters away.

"Hahaha… I'm laughing because I feel happy."

"What are you saying? So, what do you mean, you're laughing at me? Answer!"

Already his voice was high yelling again. Wouldn't that make King Byun's eardrums hurt?

Later the vocal cords can be damaged, you know. If you keep screaming like that.

Despite being scolded in such a way, King Byun responded calmly and with a cool head.

"I'm glad that soon my duty on this earth will end… at least when I'm gone, I can leave in peace, because the Rubi of eternity is in good hands."

"I see… That's just your bullshit. Who cares whether the Rubi is owned by a good person or not, I will definitely get the Rubi no matter what."

"You won't be able to have the Immortal Rubies."

"Why not… With this God's Bow in my hands, I'm sure I will get that Rubi easily… Hwahahaha."

Laughing happily at him. It was explained that even a thousand words the Sun King would not listen to him.

The Sun King laughed like a mindless madman. However, King Byun only responded like this.

"Now the Rubies are at least in the right hands… The Eternity Rubies won't fall into the hands of a bad person like yourself, who will turn the Rubies into the wrong things."

"Hah… you don't have to act holy. Anyone would want to have that Rubi in order to rule in two worlds… To enter the human world I have to have that Rubi first, before I finally become the ruler of two worlds… aaaa."

He laughed loudly like this like a giant about to eat a child in the dark. He didn't flinch with just a small bluff.

The Sun King wasn't a weak ruler if he was stabbed by a sword once he would die? The Sun King is not that kind of person, even if he is hit repeatedly with a very large "Hammer" he will still be tough.
